The hungry [[Meerca]] is back - in the new improved '''Meerca Chase II'''!!! Race around the screen collecting [[Negg]]s of all different colours, from the lowly Happy Negg (yellow) to the super-rare Fish Negg. Avoid the Red Neggs at all cost - run into one of these and it's game over.

This game runs a lot faster than the original, along with two new modes to play. ''Freestyle'' allows you to rotate instead of turning in 90-degree angles. ''Maze'' adds an extra element to the game field - evil hedges of death!

A fourth mode, gravity, is unlocked by typing the code ''superextrahypergravitymode'' which plays like freestyle except the Meerca only runs when the up key is pressed. The Meerca is continually pulled into the centre of the arena - if they touch it, the game is over. Finally, a fifth mode begins if the player types ''ferociousneggsareontheloose'', which plays like classic mode except Ferocious Neggs appear instead of Red Neggs: Ferocious Neggs run around the field.

The three normal modes can all be played at three different difficulties: at higher difficulties the Meerca moves faster but the Neggs are worth more points. Gravity mode can only be played at a special mode called ''Stop 'n' Go''.

Meerca Chase II is a action game where players must guide a Meerca around the screen collecting Neggs. It plays like the video game Snake, and is a remake of an older title called Meerca Chase.

How to play

The player controls the Meerca with the arrow keys. To collect a Negg, they must steer the Meerca over it. Every collected Negg earns the player points, but also makes the Meerca's tail longer. The player must avoid Red Neggs, the arena's walls, and the Meerca's own tail: hitting one of these ends the game.

There are three normal modes of play: classic, where the Meerca turns at ninety degree angles; freestyle, were the Meerca has a turning circle; and maze, which plays like classic but with the added obstacle of hedge mazes. In these three modes, the Meerca is continually running forwards and all the player can do is turn them.

A fourth mode, gravity, is unlocked by typing the code superextrahypergravitymode which plays like freestyle except the Meerca only runs when the up key is pressed. The Meerca is continually pulled into the centre of the arena - if they touch it, the game is over. Finally, a fifth mode begins if the player types ferociousneggsareontheloose, which plays like classic mode except Ferocious Neggs appear instead of Red Neggs: Ferocious Neggs run around the field.

The three normal modes can all be played at three different difficulties: at higher difficulties the Meerca moves faster but the Neggs are worth more points. Gravity mode can only be played at a special mode called Stop 'n' Go.
