A Blue Kadoatie.

Kadoaties (commonly shortened to Kads)are cat-like Petpets released on May 29, 2001, which refuse to sleep in the dark. Should the lights go out, the Kadoatie will cry continuously until they are turned back on, making sleeping with the lights on the only option for most Neopets who own them. Though the welcome text at the Kadoatery claims that Kads appear there when their owners are going on vacation, none of the ones that appear there are actually owned by users. While there, they get lonely and hungry, waiting for someone to feed them. Though many of the items they crave are inexpensive, many are not, including items like Draik Eggs.
