Magma is a molten earth colour available to all Neopets, released on December 15, 2009. The method of obtaining it is to visit the Magma Pool when the guard is randomly sleeping, or when the guard also randomly grants you permission. The Lab Ray is also capable of turning pets Magma. All pets were available in the Magma colour as soon as it was released.

Trivia
- It was discovered by Neocolours that there would be a Magma colour on August 17, 2009.
- Magma pets placed in the Neopian Pound are automatically turned to basic Red.
