Villains
The Darkest Faerie was one of the 12 protectors of Altador. She was punished for her crimes by Queen Fyora by being turned to stone and hidden in the ruins of Maraqua. Now, she has returned after 1000 years, and seeks revenge on Fyora. However, she could not reach Altador for some reason, and decided to attack the nearby kingdom of Meridell. Her constellation used to be The Sleeper.
The Dark Faerie Sisters are the Darkest Faerie's elite minions. They are known as Vanity, Malice, and Spite. They appear in Act 1 when the Darkest Faerie took over Meridell Castle. They are invulnerable to any kind of attack. That makes them in Act 1 completly invincible to Tormund when he tries attacking them. The only way to hurt them was in Act 3 when Roberta drained their invulnerability from them with Fyora's Rod. Tormund and Roberta fight them in the Kings Chambers in Meridell Castle in Act 3. Vanity has the braided hair, Malice has long hair, and Spite has two pigtails.
The WereLupe King is not an exact minion of the Darkest Faerie, but his land is one of the only lands to be unaffected by the Darkest Faerie's magic. He is the biggest of all the Werelupes and carries a boomerang-like weapon which he used against Tor. He sends Gnarfas to deal with Tor in Act 1, and then is defeated by Tor in Werelupe Woods in Act 3. He has a long rivalry with Illusen the Earth Faerie for control of her land.
The Gelert Assassin is one of her most cunning minions. She sent him after Tor and Roberta to stop them from trying to free Meridell. He fights several times with the two heroes, but always leaves to reappear and mess something else up for them. He fights Tor and Roberta outside Brightvale in Act 3, but is ended by the Brightvale guards rushing in. He finally fights them in Illusen's Glade when they are returning the faerie's charm.
Ixi Raider Chief is the leader of the Ixi invaders of Cogham Village. He is aware of Meridell's past interferences. When his Ixi soldiers invade Cogham in Act 1, only Tormund arrives to deal with them. The Cheiften carries a double ended axe, which means he has a stick with an axe on both ends. He uses that axe to control fire type attacks. He is defeated by Tor in Act 1 and returns in Act 3 when his troops kidnapped the townsfolk and took them to the abandoned mines. The town is under the Darkest Faerie's powers then.

She gave Roberta an amulet for her troubles. She was later captured by the Darkest Faerie because of her odd ability to resist Darkest Faerie's control like Tormund. Sasha is a Cybunny and one of the twelve protectors of Altador. Her constellation is The Dancer.
The Darkest Faerie is a Dark Faerie and was once a protector. She betrayed Altador. Her constellation is The Sleeper.
One suggested role for the 12 Protectors in the game is that they are all imprisoned, and you must release them through a series of puzzles, but you only reawaken 5 of them.
