The Faeries' Ruin is a plot that started on 20 September, 2010 (publicly announced on the 21st). During the Faerie Festival, all the Faeries in the world mysteriously turned to stone, and Faerieland began sinking towards the ground. It stars several characters who have appeared in previous plots, including Jazan of Lost Desert Plot fame and King Altador, as well as several new characters. During the course of the plot, nearly all activities that involve faeries have been suspended - from the games and shops on Faerieland to the Neggery and the Cooking Pot, due to the faeries' condition.
The Faeries' Ruin is a plot that started on 20 September, 2010, and closed at the end of 31 December, 2010.  (It was publicly announced on September 21, and prizes are not yet released.)  It documents the journey of a band of heroes through Neopia as they try to halt the fall and near-destruction of Faerieland.

The title of the plot refers to the scene at the outset of the plot, when the Faerie Festival was interrupted as nearly all of the faeries in the world mysteriously turned to stone<!-- except bottled ones, see "Balthazar discovers the Faeries Ruin" Neopedia article -->.  Without the faeries' magic, Faerieland began sinking towards the ground, and shadowy creatures began emerging.

The plot stars several new characters, including Brynn, a female Kougra knight, Hanso, an Ixi thief, and Xandra, a Xweetok sorceress.  It also includes several characters who have appeared in previous plots, including Jazan of Lost Desert Plot fame and King Altador.

Players participated in The Faeries' Ruin through individual puzzles, cooperative puzzles, and the Battledome in roughly equal amounts.  It also introduced achievements, termed "Fearless Deeds", which were awarded for certain miscellaneous accomplishments in each plot step.

Like The Cyodrake's Gaze plot, this plot has story segments that have unreliable narrators.
