A number of '''diseases''' can be caught by [[Neopet]]s in [[Neopia]].  There is a current total of 35, but new diseases may be added.  Pets do not simply recover from a disease with time, instead, each disease has its own unique cure, a certain [[item]] that must be used on your pet in order to cure it.
