Jeran's little sister, Lisha has helped save Meridell during both of the Meridell vs. Darigan wars.

Her glasses allow her to see through enchantments and not become mesmerized, which is what allowed her to find a way to break the hold The Court Dancer had over King Skarl and his court.

During the plot, it is revealed how Lisha came to Meridell. Her brother had disappeared years ago, and when she went to find him, she discovered where her brother went. She assisted Meridell during the war.
