The Monoceraptor is a great monster which invaded Tyrannia along with an army of Tyrannian Neopets during The Tyrannian Invasion. He was the boss challenger of the war, coming after seven inital waves of invaders. After the ransacking of Tyrannia, he earned himself a place in the Gallery of Evil on May 11, 2001, but was removed at some unrecorded later point for unknown reasons.
It was implied at the end of the war that the Monoceraptor was the puppet of some greater evil, although it is open thread as to who this could have been. There is some speculation that it could have been Dr. Sloth, and some think it was just a joke from The Neopets Team by using the Tyrannian war to test the new Battledome system.

The Monoceraptors Claw (as it is an item name, there is no possesive apostrophe) is one of the most powerful and valued weapons in the Battledome. It was for a time only available for purchase from the Hidden Tower before it was Retired, and at present no more suppliers have surfaced.
