| A pet for a [[Petpet]]. Many of them resemble insects, leading many to believe that these critters are actually parasites of Petpets, much like real-world fleas and ticks. As of 31 May, 2006, there are 29 Petpetpets in existence.

| Petpetpets are usually rather expensive, and so are often viewed as a status symbol. The Petpetpet article of the Neopets Help section tells us that "Petpetpets are usually found by your Petpet. Very rarely, Petpets are able to catch one of these elusive little bugs in their mouth, and happily bring them back to their owners." If the sole source of the Petpetpets is indeed a random event, that would certainly help explain their rarity, and hence their high prices.

| Once obtained, a Petpetpet will attach itself to your Petpet. Simply follow the instructions below.

| Assuming that the dissapearance was not the fault of the [[Pant Devil]], the Petpetpet should now be attached to the Petpet of your active pet. Congratulations!

| In the unlikely incident that you wish to remove the Petpetpet, you will need to unequip your Petpet. This can be achieved by clicking on the Petpet on your Quick Ref page and selecting "Stop Playing with (Petpet's name)." You ''will'' lose the Petpetpet, however, so be sure this is really what you want to do before you do it.

| As of 31 May, 2006, there are two [[Avatar|avatars]] dedicated to Petpetpets. The first is the Mootix avatar, obtained by attaching a Mootix to your Petpet. The second is the Moach avatar, obtained by viewing the pet lookup of a pet with a Moach attached to its Petpet.
