Rotten Egg
Before the Furwitch became the Furwitch, it was known as a Spooky Petpet named Rotten Egg. It was released on October 23, 2000 as a prize from the Brain Tree's quest. The Rotten Egg was one of the less popular Petpets in Neopets' early years, which is why it was among the Petpets getting an "update" on October 21, 2002. Like the others, it was immediately retired after the change.
It is not impossible to still own a Rotten Egg. Any Petpet which was attached to a Neopet at the time of the change will stay the same until it is removed. This means that a very few people still have a Rotten Egg.
