A Quetzal

The Quetzal is a Geraptiku Petpet released on July 13, 2005 with the discovery of the Lost City of Geraptiku. The name Quetzal is borrowed from the Aztec deity Quetzalcoatl who was often depicted as a snake.

As of October 2008, the Quetzal can be painted 6 different colours...

In the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure, a Quetzal Petpet can be used to switch the places of one of the player's tokens and an enemy token.
The Quetzal was chosen for Week 148 of the Petpet Protection League.
