Draik

Draiks were originally released in limited quantitys along with Ixis when Meridell was discovered. Shortly after, Ixis became available normally. However, no more Draiks were released, and instead they became available through special use of an item, the Draik Egg (similar to the Krawk).

Draiks were featured heavily in the two Meridell plots, since the guards at Meridell Castle are composed almost entirely of them. They are very popular among users and are highly desireable, however, this combined with the rarity of the Draik Eggs has caused them to become quite expensive. Some users opt for buying the slightly-cheaper Morphing Potions in order to get them, while others take pride in their egg-created or "natural born" Draiks.

They come in a wide variety of colors including many redraws, such as the zombie-like Mutant and the elegant Maraquan. These redraws are generally considered much better than the normal pet, which some dislike because of its large head and awkward positioning. Still, most users would be greatful for a Draik of any type, since they are so pricy that they are considered a status symbol.
