The Ravenous Monster rears above the adventurers.
The Ravenous Monster was an insect-like challenger from the Journey to the Lost Isle plot. The creature first terrorised the adventurers in the 2nd chapter. It appears to be a giant Skritch It turned out that, instead of attacking Lilian Fairweather, it was attacking another giant insect-like creature, what appeared to be a gargantuan Lady Blurg.
Battledome

The Ravenous Monster used only four Battledome Equipment items:
- Mud Mixture - Attack: 6 x Earth; Defence: None; (Heal 1-5 HP)
- Slime Potion - Attack: None; Defence: None; (Heal 10 HP)
- Slorg Slime - Attack: 3 x Water, 2 x Earth; Defence: All Light;
- Snow Mudball - Attack: 5 x Water, 5 x Earth 1 + 3, x Physical; Defence: None;
Interestingly, the Ravenous Monster may only have used each of these items (all of which are single use, or once per battle), once in a bout, after which time it would not be able to attack.
