Plot Summary Division[edit]

While I don't think this is possibly until the plot is finished, as we have yet to know the actual occurrence of events, I think the plot summary should eventually be separated into the actual occurrences of the night of the storm, what the characters said about the night, and the user's interaction with the captain and shumi. --Macbeth 10:43, 30 Aug 2006 (CDT)

It sounds good to me. Will write along what happens while the plot progresses, and when it's finished the style of what it will be will be decied upon. --Jacob 14:25, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Timeline of Events[edit]

I like the idea of showing a timeline of the events the crew is decribing. currently looking up the coding of a possible wiki table we can use for such a thing, as i think it would work good for this...maybe. otherwise wishing to expand upon the table some more to incorporate the rest of the crew.--Jacob 14:25, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

A Wiki table? How would this work differently from your normal table? If we wanted to include time lines for the other characters, we should probably do them in separate tables, and put them next to each character's account... Possibly horizontally, they would fit in easier that way. --Macbeth 14:39, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Just as there is special wiki coding for tables, there is special coding for timelines...at least there was. i can't seem to find it at the moment. And however we should display the times versus the person giving their perspective (horizontally or vertically), it's going to be one table, as you currently have it, with the times (on the side of on the top) corresponding to the placement something happened with the crew (again on the side or top). Would be a ways to show people what happened as a guide to the effents described and how people were making their guesses based on it. --Jacob 15:08, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, that would be very useful. It would have to be carefully planned out, so that contradictions can go in one row... I would have to hand draw it first, in other words, like I did Hoban's. --Macbeth 15:13, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Would you like me to create one first? also, seeing as you used a table to create this, could you perhaps use wiki coding for you current set-up? see Wikipedia's table help to see. --Jacob 15:42, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Sure, if you like. :¬). I should be able to convert the current one into wikicode... --Macbeth 16:11, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)
There, converted. I'll change it into a horizontal one now... (although if there are several contradictions on one row (character) in one column (time), it would require a bit of maintenance... Which is why it would be best to have the characters sorted out separately first... --Macbeth 16:35, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

How about you let me give a shot at creating what i have in mind first, and see if it works? I think it would work out just fine, but will have to see first. --Jacob 16:43, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Oh, sorry, I just converted it to horizontal... But by all means, try your idea: with any luck it'll be better than mine :).--Macbeth 17:12, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Decided to put up the tables here for people to discuss what they like in the timetables given. --Jacob 17:49, 2 Sep 2006 (CDT)

Chef Bonju Avatar[edit]

I don't know if any article mentions this elusive avatar, but I do think a mention in the trivia section of this page would not be amiss. Any thoughts? It's unknown if that avatar is even related to this plot, or is simply part of the "cooking pot" used by Bonju to create the ever elusive recipe. In either case, it's something to ponder till someone figures it out. --Jacob 03:50, 30 Jan 2008 (UTC)
