Down for Maintenance Pteri

The Down for Maintenance Pteri is a Red Pteri created on (need date) as the Pteri seen on the "Down for Maintenance" page, which appears to a user when trying to access the website while The Neopets Team is updating.

Because of the annoyance this gave to users, it was asked on May 11, 2003 if it could be a Battledome challenger so users could get their revenge, and was able to be challenged from a Random Event on July 27, 2004.

Besides this, it is also possible the Red Pteri shown in shops as a NEOPETS HINT is the very same Pteri
