Some people say that The Gelert assassin was once a normal villager but when his wife died he became an Assassin who the Darkest Faerie hired to kill Roberta and Tormund.

- On the Neopets TCG card, the Gelert Assasin was accidentally mislabeled as a Lupe. According to an editorial article, TNT had noticed the mistake but it was too late to fix it.
