"Plot Characters" category
Just so you know, the Plot Characters category is an unsanctions category, which is why it hasn't been created yet. it was placed on an article one day, but i have not taken it off. I personally think it's silly to label characters who have all been in plots, as any character can be part of a plot. i think it would make more sense to label what plot they are part of, for easier research by a user. Such as Lord Darigan, whose categories would be "Champions of Meridell Characters", "Battle for Meridell Characters" and "Neopets: The Darkest Faerie Characters". --Jacob 22:58, 9 Jan 2007 (CST)
:Ok I figured there was reason behind it, I only started using it because I'm trying to sort out the articles in Uncategorized. I can start working on dividing the plot characters by there plots add create individual categories for each as you suggested Vahalla bound 23:05, 9 Jan 2007 (CST)
At the moment it would be best not to create any new categories, as we are currently working on some new ideas on how to sort them all. So it would be best to use the currently available categories. Also, be sure to read 101 things you need to know about categories (you may have already, just making sure) on placement and ordering of categories.
On what i previously said with Lord Darigan, i have anothwer idea: Perhaps a category just labelled "Battle for Meridell," i.e. all articles having something to do with the plot? I suppose the same could be said about others, such as a category simply called "Meridell." hmmm...perhaps this conversation should be continued on a category page with other users for more input? --Jacob 23:11, 9 Jan 2007 (CST)
Don't need to add
I've seen you adding "new releases" to game articles, and i though i would mention it isn't nessesary (along with "Top Rate"), as it's not a proper way to be sorting games. they change too often, and we don't need to be showing which games are considered newest games or the top rated by a category. --Jacob 03:30, 14 Jan 2007 (CST)

"Plot Characters" category[edit]

Just so you know, the Plot Characters category is an unsanctions category, which is why it hasn't been created yet. it was placed on an article one day, but i have not taken it off. I personally think it's silly to label characters who have all been in plots, as any character can be part of a plot. i think it would make more sense to label what plot they are part of, for easier research by a user. Such as Lord Darigan, whose categories would be "Champions of Meridell Characters", "Battle for Meridell Characters" and "Neopets: The Darkest Faerie Characters". --Jacob 22:58, 9 Jan 2007 (CST)

Ok I figured there was reason behind it, I only started using it because I'm trying to sort out the articles in Uncategorized.

Don't need to add[edit]

I've seen you adding "new releases" to game articles, and i though i would mention it isn't nessesary (along with "Top Rate"), as it's not a proper way to be sorting games. they change too often, and we don't need to be showing which games are considered newest games or the top rated by a category. --Jacob 03:30, 14 Jan 2007 (CST)
