Games Master Challenge 2013

This Games Master Challenge featured a competition between Team Sun and Team Moon.

The eighth annual Games Master Challenge began on November 25, 2013 and concluded on December 2, 2013. Each day, users were given several Games Room related challenges by Aristotle A. Avinroo to complete.

After Brains beat Brawn and Ninjas beat Pirates in previous years, this year saw Team Sun lead by Siyana compete with Team Moon led by Princess Lunara. Players could join one of the two teams to help them win the competition. The two teams received some different challenges to each other.

For the first time since 2009, Lulu did not appear in conjunction with this event. Instead, players could visit Reslen's planetarium in the NC Mall.

Teams

In order to participate, users first had to join a team. As a reward for joining a team, users were given an exclusive sign up bonus of a wearable based on the corresponding team that they chose.

Neocash activity

This year's Games Master Challenge NC Mall tie-in was not hosted by Lulu, but by a Skeith astronomer called Reslen. He invited players to his Enchanted Planetarium, where once per day during the event they could retrieve sun and moon related wearables.

In order collect the items, players needed to buy tickets from the NC Mall, Reslens Enchanted Planetarium Day Ticket and Reslens Enchanted Planetarium Night Ticket. These tickets cost 700 NC. Two items were available each day, one sun related for players who had bought the day ticket, and one moon related for those who had bought the night ticket. The receive both wearables, players had to buy both tickets.

Bonus prizes for having activated a ticket were released on 2 December.

At the end of the event, players were awarded a certain trophy depending on how many challenges they had completed and which team they played for. A different item was awarded at each prize tier. Players received the item for their tier and all the tiers they had passed.

Players who completed all the challenges also received a Day and Night Collectable Scarab. By the end of the event, Team Moon had earned more points than Team Sun. All members of Team Moon were rewarded with a Brilliant Sun and Moon Potion, while all members of Team Sun received a Not So Brilliant Sun and Moon Potion as a consolation prize.
