Talinia is a Green Eyrie and one of the team members in NeoQuest II. She is an archer who fires arrows at your opponents, and is located on Terror Mountain in Chapter 2 of the game.

Plot summary[edit]

NeoQuest II[edit]

Main article: NeoQuest II

Talinia is found by Rohane in a Mountainside Inn, and appears to be fully aware that she is in a simulation she can't escape from and calls Rohane by the title "Captain". She stayed in the inn because she wasn't strong enough to fight them on her own, and with Rohane present she can finally do so by joining forces with him.

Talinia has the second highest HP in the game, and is a secondary fighter in comparison to Rohane.

Abilities[edit]

Every time a character levels up they get one skill point to spend on an ability. A characters stops levelling up at level 60 and each ability maxes out with 15 skill points. Players pick carefully which four abilities to max out on a character.

Increased Bow Damage

Increases the range of damage Talinia can do.

Multiple Targets

Allows Talinia to attack more than one target at a time, beginning with 2 targets all the way up to 4. The time it takes to shoot arrows is lowered with each level as well.

Ranged Attacks

When monsters attack Talinia, it takes longer for them to attack next turn. Similar to Rohanes stun, but only affective when a monster attacks Talinia.

Shockwave

With every attack Talinia makes, there is a small chance it will create a shockwave, which will stun all monsters being fought. This chance is raised with each increased level.

Slowing Strike

Each attack of Talinia can slow down a monster by a small percentage with a maximum of 5%.

Innate Magic Resistance

Decreases the amount of damage and resistance from magical attacks.

Innate Melee Haste

Talinia gets to take a turn more often. Attacking more often means Talinia can do more damage. This ability not only makes Talinia more of an offensive power, but it is a must later in the game when the party faces numerous monsters at once.

Victory quotes[edit]

Talinia occasionally makes a victory cheer after winning a battle.

  • "All too easy."
  • "Back in my day, monsters were ten times as vicious!"
  • "It's all about the proper aim, baby."

Trivia[edit]

  • Talinia's How to Draw tutorial was released on August 26, 2004.
  • As of December 2010, Talinia is featured in 3 different items.
