The Primella has been selected for the [[Petpet Protection League]] award twice:
Before the Primella became the Primella, it was known as a Petpet named '''Prissy'''. It was forced to flee [[Maraqua]], it's original home, when it was destroyed. With the [[Maraquan Petpets (Shop)|shop selling them]] gone, they were temporarily unbuyable until August 29, 2001, when [[the Rock Pool]] opened on [[Mystery Island]]. The Rock Pool never truly sold Prissies though, as the [[List of Petpet redesigns|change]] took place just before that shop opened.


It is not impossible to still own a Prissy. Any Petpet who was attached to a [[Neopet (species)|Neopet]] at the time of the change will stay the same until it is removed. This means only a very few people still have a Prissy.

Prissy[edit]

During the time of Old Maraqua, there was a species of Petpet known as the Prissy. Shortly after the destruction of Maraqua, all of these Prissy Petpets were converted into Primellas. Petpets that were attached to a Neopet during this conversion were not effected by the change. This means that there are still a few users that have a Prissy attached to one of their Neopets. Whenever one of these remaining Prissy Petpets is removed from its Neopet, it is immediately converted into a Primella.
