The '''Bori''' is the 49th Neopet, and was released on October 13, 2004 to coincide with [[Hannah and the Ice Caves: Plot|the Terror Mountain plot]]. Bori are an underground armadillo-like race with fox-like heads and furry bodies who have been kept in an enchanted sleep by some strange forces since Neopia's creation. Only now are they being awoken.  Although their claws are sharp enough to penetrate stone, they have timid personalities and dislike coming to the surface.

Bori are one of many different species that exist in [[Neopia]]. As a general rule Bori are quiet peaceful creatures who are rather timid. They originated from the frozen region of [[Terror Mountain]], but can now be found all over the world.
The '''Bori''' is an [[wikipedia:armadillo|armadillo]]-like [[Neopet]] released on 13 October 2004, coinciding with their appearance in the [[Hannah and the Ice Caves (Plot)|Hannah and the Ice Caves]] [[plot]]. The Bori lived peacefully inside [[Terror Mountain]] until the [[Bringer of Night]] arrived seeking treasure. Many Bori were killed, and to protect the rest, their leader put them in an enchanted sleep deep within the ice, kept alive by the magic of the [[Heart of the Mountain]].  


The Bori, coined the Amadillo Neopet, are habitually shy. Often seen around their burrows, these creatures homes are extensively large and complex due on a large part, to their excellent digging skills. Should you need extensive piping work or underground work done, you know who to contact...that is...if you can find one. They are quiet and peaceful Neopets.
[[Armin]] was the first Bori to awake from the spell, although the [[Keeper of Time]] had stayed awake throughout the spell to keep watch. The other Bori were revived during the plot when Hannah united the keystone with the Heart.  


Bori is not a limited edition pet, but their promotional colour is their exclusive ice colour, which could only be accessed by users who took part in a '''Yahoo! Toolbar''' promotion.
