Disappeared?

An edit by Demon states "As of January 2007, the Tax Beast hasn't been seen for a long period of time". Where is this stated? I find it very odd a challenger of the battledome wouldn't be given to the rest of the users of Neopets for "a long period of time". :o --Jacob 21:10, 16 Jul 2007 (UTC)

That is right. However, when I wrote the respective paragraph, I was referring to the fact that the High-Score list for the "biggest amount taken by the Tax Beast" had been empty every time I looked at it. It seems that it has even been removed with the game room-makeover.--Demon 15:44, 17 Jul 2007 (UTC)

Mr. Angry Tax Beast just visited me! What a lucky gal I am! As a keen battler does this mean that the normal Tax Beast has been told that he has had enough of a rest and that he needs to get out there and start working for a living again? May I also add that Both the Angry Tax Beast and the Tax Beast High Scores list are now active, if what was stated before (that it was always empty) is correct. I, personally, never saw this to be so. I wonder if there are now TWO tax beasts... one taking a higher percentage than the other. New Angry Tax Beast HS list -Cath 03:03, 23 Oct 2007 (UTC)

Edit. Just saw the Trophy for the Angry Tax Beast. It appears that he takes 25%, not 10%. I think I shall be keeping my NP in the Bank from now on. Will edit article to reflect that there are now two Tax Beasts. Or... Should I not? Should they be the same article? I don't know if you get the BD Challenger from the angry one or if you just get him with the regular one-Cath 03:07, 23 Oct 2007 (UTC)

Angry vs. Disaffected Tax Beasts

It's not the the angry tax beast is a "new" version... If memory serves, the event was released, taking 25%, shortly after the tax beast was... They were both disabled for a long while, and now, they both have been reintroduced... It is not the case that the angry tax beast is replacing the original tax beast. --Macbeth 20:38, 23 Oct 2007 (UTC)
