The four across makes Halloween wrap... I would like the petpet colour lists to be just 3 across... if that's acceptable. -Cath 18:01, 16 Sep 2007 (UTC)
:Halloween and it's release date looking crunched? You must have your screen resolution at a smaller setting. Would it be better if the width of the table cells were made larger? Or, with the small number of colours, is 3 columns better? Also, how does this affect the colours sections of Neopets? --Jacob 02:02, 17 Sep 2007 (UTC)
::Well, maybe that was just on that computer... it has really huge resolution setting because it's used as a TV monitor so it's got to be visible from some distance. From my actual computer it's fine... These petpet colour listings tend to be all different column widths depending on how many colours there are. Most of them I've been aiming for 3 columns unless there are 4 or fewer colours available but 4 columns might be helpful on some of the petpets with tons of colours like the Slorg and Angelpuss. What about abbreviating the months to three letters? make it easier for me to type out, as well... -Cath 03:52, 17 Sep 2007 (UTC)
Abbreviating "September" to "Sept" or "Sept." is something I haven't thought about before. Would give more room for the colours in their columns and not make the data crunched together. Or we could just expand the column width (though there is a limit to the pixels we can use) What does everyone else think? Is it really nessesary? --Jacob 04:18, 17 Sep 2007 (UTC)
:I usually tried to avoid the scenario where the user have to scroll horizontally (especially 800px width resolution). An alternative is to place the date below the colour for all. --SwordFire 05:24, 17 Sep 2007 (UTC) |
