The Hissi are sssssssserpent-like and sssslliter everywhere. The distinguishing feature about these creatures is the two wings that adorn their back. Can they use them to fly? Known for their acute vision and maneuverability, these creatures are a force to be reckoned with once they get in close.

The '''Hissi''' (from ''hiss'', [[wikipedia:onomatopoeia|onomatopoeia]] for the noise a snake makes) is a [[wikipedia:snake|snake]]-like [[Limited Edition]] [[Neopet]] released on 4 May 2005. It has wings, like an [[wikipedia:amphiptere|amphiptere]] or the [[Wikipedia:Aztec|Aztec]] serpent god [[Wikipedia:Quetzalcoatl|Quetzalcoatl]]. They have acute vision and a keen sense of smell which makes them extremely good at games of hide and seek.

An existing Neopet can be turned into a Hissi by a [[Transmogrification Potion]], [[Morphing Potion]] or by certain zaps the [[Lab Ray]]. The [[Ice]] Hissi is reminiscent of the [[Snowager]], and the [[Spotted]] Hissi is reminiscent of a real life snake like a ''[[wikipedia:Boa constrictor|Boa constrictor]]''.
