The '''Tonu''' is a [[Wikipedia:Rhinoceros|rhinoceros]]-like [[Neopet]] native to [[Tyrannia]], released on 21 February 2002. Tonu have a mane like a [[wikipedia:lion|lion]]'s and very tough skin. They love to charge around and cause havoc, knocking over whatever gets in their way.

They emerged from the egg of the [[Giant Omelette]] in [[Tyrannia]], and have been hatching from such eggs on a daily basis since then, becoming native to the mountains and valleys of the land. The Tonu has a mane similar to a [[Wikipedia:Lion|lion]], and is completely covered by a thick coat of skin, which will render any attack on it near impossible. they can carry heavy loads with ease and are often seen working at construction sites. They also love to run around and cause havoc, knocking over whatever gets in their way.
Tonu are [[Limited Edition]]. A small number are made available to create every day when the [[Giant Omelette]] runs out of omelette, making them the only Limited Edition Neopet made available so often.
