(new front page that looks very similar, but has much tidier code and should therefore be easier to maintain. Includes drop shadows (because those are cool again) and it looks better when the fa and news are different lengths.)

The NeoDex is based on the wiki engine, (''which some claim stands for "What I Know Is." although wiki.com shares that wikiwiki is hiwian for fast - both meanings tell you something about the why and how of a wiki'').  People that visit the site can partake actively in the articles that appear here, and add little bits of information here and there until finally, after so many contributions from hundreds of different users, a comprehensive article on the topic is available.
