The Faerie League was a Battledome event held in 2001. Players could challenge Faeries in the Battledome, and if they defeated them enough times, win exclusive weapons. These "training missions" began on 18 May 2001 with the Fire Faerie. The last character to be released was the Battle Faerie on 8 June.
Summary[edit]
The first Faerie to enter the Battledome was the Fire Faerie. Unlike later Faerie challengers, players had to unlock the Fire Faerie by winning a game of Gormball by playing as Ember. The Water Faerie joined the competition on 23 May, the Earth Faerie on the 24 May, and the Light Faerie on 30 May.
On the 30 May, the Circle of the Faeries released, which kept track of how many wins the player had over each Faerie. Beating a Faerie enough times earned the player an exclusive Battle Sceptre from the 1 June.
The Darkness Faerie and Air Faerie joined their sisters on the 1 June. The final Faerie to be released was the Battle Faerie, who entered the Battledome on the 8 June.
Prizes[edit]
Neopets who defeated the Faerie Legaue were awarded with a special trophy, the Faerie League Key, on their pet look-up. Defeating the Faeries would reward the players with special prizes, the Battle Sceptres. These Sceptres corresponded to the element of the Faerie, and came in normal, Improved, and Legendary variants. Defeating the Battle Faerie earned the player the Dai-scimitar.
Initially, players had been promised that if they could beat all the Faeries, they would be entered into the Battledome League Championships - but this event did not take place.
