The Rock is a species of Petpet. Its name properly describes what it is: a rock. Nothing more, nothing less. This Petpet is designed to mimic the popular fad of the 70s, the Pet Rock.

A recurring joke is that, when painted certain colours, the Rock resembles different things: painted Christmas it resembles a piece of charcoal; painted Disco it resembles a mirror ball; painted Halloween it resembles a gravestone; painted Island it resembles a Mau Codestone; painted Picnic it resembles a jacket potato; and painted Snow it resembles a snow ball.

Trivia

• When the Rock's How to Draw tutorial was released, the artists were on vacation, so TNT was obliged to fill in. The tutorial slightly differed from what HTD guides would usually say, and has never been fixed.
• The Rock used to be called the Pet Rock, but the name had to be changed for legal reasons.
