The Nimmo is a frog-like Neopet introduced as one of the original Neopets at the sites launch. In general they are wise and thoughtful. Nimmos often choose to dedicate themselves to intellectual study - which makes them common as booksellers (such as those at Words of Antiquity, Sutek's Scrolls, and the Neopia Central Book Shop) - or honing their martial arts as typified by Ryshu.

In the Battledome, Nimmos take 20% less damage from water attacks. They can also learn six abilities:
