Valrigard is a resourceful Blue Draik who was imprisoned in Meridell Castle on the false charge of being a traitor and subsequently escaped. He is the star of the game Escape from Meridell Castle.
Valrigard's escape involved stealing a sword from the castle's armoury, careful knowledge of his guards' activities, and fighting his way through at least one guard who caught him.
