An Anubis

The Anubis is a friendly Desert Petpet, who will try not to judge you in any way. They are named after the jackal-headed Egyptian god Anubis, who they resemble.

Colours

As of August 2010, the Anubis comes in 22 different colours:

Trivia

  • The Anubis's description, which states that the Petpet will "try not to judge you in any way," is most likely a reference to an Ancient Egyptian myth in which the god Anubis would weigh a person's heart after death to judge whether or not they had led a just life.
  • In the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure, an Anubis Petpet can be used to convert a token into the opposite colour and cause chains.
  • The Anubis selected for Week 125 of the Petpet Protection League and Cloud Anubis was selected for Week 80.
