Dark Faerie

A Dark Faerie.

A Dark Faerie is one of the six basic Faeries of Neopia. Minions of the evil one himself (an unknown entity), they tempt those weak of heart with power, but at a price. These evil Faerie abilities include creating darkness, draining life and vision at night. A Dark Faerie also lives near the Wheel of Excitement and will put a spell on a user's Neopet if they're unlucky, making them sick.

Although Dark Faeries as a whole are viewed as evil, there are some who have done some good. The Darkest Faerie helped create the kingdom of Altador (although she later caused it to be frozen in time), and a Dark Faerie is one of the guardians in the PSP game Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing.

Dark Faerie Quest

Dark Faeries require test subjects for their spells and will ask users for Toys as a Faerie Quest. In return, they will raise a pet's hitpoints.
