Gnorbu are fun-loving Neopets who enjoy making others laugh. Despite its natural lack of agility, the Gnorbu has a kind heart and good-natured outlook that can win it many friends.

The Gnorbu was originally made public under the name Llamameeah, as part of the April Fool's joke of 2005. Several months after voting was held for what April Fool's pet to release, a few images of this pet popped up on the servers. Many users were unhappy with that, thinking it looked "too happy," as one of the Llamameeah's most popular features was the confused and innocent expression. After having the face adjusted slightly, it was released under the name Gnorbu.

Some suspect that it is due to being redrawn that the Gnorbu never became terribly popular. It is the least popular of the Neopets that are not Limited Edition, with less than 400,000 in existance at the time of writing.
