The disappearance of the five guardians of Mystery Island was all part of a plan to summon the Ancient Beast of Magma, as they were responsible for maintaining the seal that kept him inside the volcano. [[Eithne]] and an unnamed [[Kyrii]] shaman, who were seeking control over the creature, were responsible for it. Fortunately, they could be stopped, because the users managed to finish the incantation (''Ancient beast of magma awaken'') and thus gained control over the Moltenus themselves. The first thing he did however, was dealing with Eithne. It is not known what he did to her, but the image name (''volcano_faerie_lunch'') suggests he ate her. After that he went after the users. Moltenus went back to sleep after the users got rid of the second villain with a new incantation (''Begone evil shaman of darkness'').
