Dark Faerie

A Dark Faerie.

A Dark Faerie is one of the six basic faeries of Neopia. Minions of the evil one himself, they tempt those weak of heart with power, but at a price. These evil Faerie abilities include creating darkness and draining life and vision at night. A dark faerie also lives near the Wheel of Excitement and will put a spell on a user's Neopet if they're unlucky, making them sick.

Although Dark Faeries as a whole are viewed as evil, this is not true. The Darkest Faerie helped create the kingdom of Altador (although she later caused it to be frozen in time), and a Dark Faerie is one of the guardians of the PSP game Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing.

As of yet, no one knows who the evil one the Dark Faeries serve, or what HE is...
