Clay is a colour of Neopet and Petpet. In general, Clay pets are an earthy brown colour and look like they are made of clay. Clay coloured Neopets were first introduced on May 11th, 2005, as part of a Clay Random Theme day. Clay coloured Neopets can only be obtained by using the Lab Ray. Clay Petpets were also released on May 11th, 2005. Petpets can be painted Clay by using the Clay Petpet Paint Brush item at the Petpet Puddle. In addition, the Petpet Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Petpet to Clay.
