In the bowels of the Virtupets Space Station, Neopet v2 turned itself on, asking for a doctor and repeadtly asking the question "Don't you want to play with me?"
Neopet Version 2 was the antagonist of the eponymous plot. After activating and finding nobody to play with, it took control of the Vitrulift system in the [[Space Station]] to hold four Neopets who were holidaying in the Station hostage, and forced them to play with it.

Two days later Neopet v2 watched four neopets, Billy, Sarah, Karai, and Helena, through a security camera, and overheard them talking about how they had no friends. Neopet Version 2 decided that it would be their friend.
With the lift jammed, the four Neopets were running out of fresh air. Dr. Sloth himself was contacted, who although was not very helpful, did explain that the programme required ten deactivation codes, two of which were known to each of four programmers, and the final two of which were only know to the programme itself.

As the four neopets entered Virtulift 4, the lift went pass their level and jammed. Neopet v2  appeared on a monitor in the lift and told the neopets that they were its friends now.
After tracking down the programmers and acquiring their codes, and interrogating the programme itself for its codes, Neopet Version 2 was shut down, and the lift resumed, the trapped Neopets rescued.

The next day neopet v2 asked the kids if they were "Ready for another game", and the game Kau Korral came up on the monitor Neopet v2 was on, and all the kids complained.

The following night V2 told Billy to 'Solve this equation' and neopet v2 typed out a very long stream of numbers and symbols. Billy guessed and said 2, and the computer announced that he was wrong, and zapped him with a bolt of green electricity.

On the 9th day of Storing, 8:45 pm, Neopet Version 2 was deactivated, and the kids escaped.
