Meercas are energetic, fun loving Neopets who love playing tricks on others and eating neggs. They are super fast which makes it very hard to catch one, and prone to being pranksters. Though many Neopets have tails, Meercas are the only ones with a tail many times larger than their body. They were first released on February 7, 2001.
Trivia
- Meercas are currently ranked 22nd (out of 54) in Neopet popularity and 3.8 million have been created as of January 2007. Meercas come in 36 different colours and are featured in 101 different items.
- Meerca Day is August 18
- In the Neopets TCG, Meercas are associated with the element of air.
