Dark Faeries. Minions of the evil one himself. Lying in wait to tempt those weak of heart, the power granted by these evil imps is great, but at a price. These evil Faerie abilities include creating darkness, draining life and vision at night. A dark faerie also lives near the Wheel of Excitement and will put a spell on your Neopet if you're unlucky.

Although it is viewed Dark Faeries as a whole are evil, this is not true. The Darkest Faerie helped create the kingdom of Altador, and a Dark Faerie is one of the guardians of the upcoming PSP game Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing.

As of yet, no one knows who the evil one the Dark Faeries serve, or what HE is...
