King Roothless is a green [[Blumaroo]] whose name was officially released on March 31rst, 2008, even though he was first seen in a rare [[Neodeck]] card called [http://www.neopets.com/games/neodeck/colcardlookup.phtml?colcard_id=357 King Roos Nemesis]. This coincided with the release of the game Dungeon Dash and the final chapter of [http://www.neopets.com/games/aaa/dd_story.phtml?prevstor=4 The Daily Dare Story] [[Neovision]] episodes, where it was revealed that he was behind the capturing and imprisoning of [[Aristotle A. Avinroo]] and his little sister [[Abigail]]. Even though the description on the card says that Roothless despises games, the motivation he gave for the kidnapping was to finally prove himself the best gamer in all of [[Neopia]]. Scram, a blue [[Wocky]], was the one who actually abducted the children and then apparently guarded them, while they played non-stop in the dungeon. Scram is also the chasing enemy in Dungeon Dash, thanks to a mishap with one of his three yo-yos.

*King Roothless's name is probably a deliberate misspelling of the word ''ruthless'', referring to his uncaring nature.
*Roothless was nominated for the ''Best Villian'' category during the 2008 [[Neopies]].

The '''Water Faerie''' is the [[faerie]] aligned with the element of water. Water Faeries are seaworthy creatures, and although incapable of flight, they swim faster than most Faeries can fly. They swim in the rivers, streams and oceans of [[Neopia]], unseen by most, and can be heard singing quietly at night - but only if they aren't aware that others are near. They specialise in healing and defensive powers that will protect [[Neopets (species)|Neopets]] from harm.

They are also hungry for knowledge, and the more powerful Uber Water Faeries will sometimes give a [[Faerie Quest]] to users, asking them to bring them a [[book]]. If completed, the Water Faerie will raise a Neopet's defence.

She was also involved in [[The Discovery of Maraqua]] plot and provided the first ever [[Battledome]] item called the '''Coral Orb'''.

Rainbow Fountain

The '''Rainbow Fountain''' first appeared in 2003 as a sponsor reward. In return for signing up with sponsors players could earn coupons toward painting their pets and changing its species. At this time there were no restrictions on what species or colour your pet could be painted. It is important to note this was before the introduction of pets like the [[Krawk]] or [[Draik]], and the only colour exclusive to the [[Lab Ray]] was Robot. The Rainbow Fountain was shut down within a few months, as is common for sponsor related [[Freebie]]s.

Years later the Rainbow Fountain was re-introduced. This time there were certain restirctions on the colours you could paint your pet (The fountain will not allow you to paint your pet Robot, [[Royal]], or [[MSP]] - even if you have a poogle.) and changing species was no longer an option. In order to gain access to the Rainbow Fountain you must complete a [[Quest]] for the [[Fountain Faerie]].

Recently players have found an item called ''Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water'' while fishing in the [[Underwater Fishing]] caves. When used on your pet it will randomly paint it any colour available for that species (unconfirmed colour results are Invisible, Biscuit, Usuki, Mallow and Zombie).

==Suggestions and Notes==
*Compare the cost of the item you need to give the Fountain Faerie to the cost of the Paint Brush before you decide whether you would like to complete the quest.
*You can paint any of your four pets. You can even create a new pet to be painted.
*Have the pet you want set as your active pet before you go visit her, as that is the pet that will be painted.
*Painting a [[Buzz]] any colour will get you the Buzzin' [[avatar]].
*You may take as long as you like to return to the Fountain Faerie with the item. There is no time limit.
*You may take as long as you like to decide what colour you would like before you paint your pet after you complete the quest but, if you get a second Fountain Faerie Quest, you need to paint a pet ''before'' you complete the second quest.
