I'm thinking "Jazan" is more appropriate than "Prince Jazan", seeing as he isn't a prince anymore, but King (from marrying [[Nabile]]). Thoughts? --[[User:Jacob|Jacob]] 21:32, 16 Apr 2006 (CDT)

:Well, if you want to get technical, he's actually King Jazan IV of Qasala... --[[User:Macbeth|Macbeth]] 21:40, 16 Apr 2006 (CDT)

<nowiki>*</nowiki>falls over laughing* yeah, that will have to be taken into consideration too, the "IV" bit. :D

i forgot all about it until you mentioned it in the "Lost Desert" article (which is great btw). of course, is that credible, or do you think he was just full of hot air? In either case, seeing as Neopets hasn't made reference to him being the 4th, mayhaps we can do the same...at least for the title of the article...maybe? *ponders* --[[User:Jacob|Jacob]] 21:46, 16 Apr 2006 (CDT)

:Well, I suppose it would beg the question about King Jazan I, II and III... Hmmm... I suppose if it is mentioned at the begining of the article, TNT would forgive us :P. --[[User:Macbeth|Macbeth]] 22:19, 16 Apr 2006 (CDT)

I wonder if there is a King Razul II? --Unsigned by Helper 05:26, 3 Oct 2007

:Something to consider, but I don't think so. I don't think the father who cursed their way of life would be honored with something as having a child named after him. He didn't even do it after his own son Jazan. ;) Something to think on though. Heck, we aren't even sure about the other Jazan's yet. :S --[[User:Jacob|Jacob]] 14:05, 3 Oct 2007 (UTC)

....... You know, since that plotline has been over for a while, and Neopets hasn't made any refrence to it.... Let's bask in the joys of fanfiction and the delights of the Neopian Times and write the story of the Jazans! *dead silence* What? I'm going to try to write the first Jazan's story, whether anyone else is or not..... *stomps off haughtily, then trips and falls flat on face*

[[Image:JAZAN.png|right]]'''Jazan''' is a [[Kyrii]], and the only child of King [[Razul]]. He has powerful skills in the dark arts, though his nature is not as malicious as that of his father. He is over 200 years old due to a curse placed on him and all of his people by his own father who wanted to gain immortality and supreme power. He is accompanied by his faithful Uni friend, [[Nightsteed|The Nightsteed]].

==Plot Summary==
===Lost Desert Plot===
:''Main Article: [[Lost Desert Plot]]''

Jazan was tricked into unleashing his father by a false prophecy, telling him that if he married a Sakhmet princess, the curse would be lifted. He at first "tried"(more like threatened to pillage and burn her city if she didn't accept) to get princess [[Amira]] to marry him, but when [[Nabile]] was revealed to be a princess too, and much more openhearted towards him, he married her instead. Talk about fickle.

The curse was not lifted however, and he eventually sent her back to Sakhmet City, hoping she'd be happier there. After her departure, he severely weakened from lack of food and sorrow.
When his father, [[Razul]], later went to destroy Sakhmet, Jazan felt Nabile to be in danger and went to find her. He met his father, but was not able to stand up to him. Nabile, however, caught the attack on him, and seeing her nearly dead angered Jazan so much that it gave him more power, enough to defeat Razul.

At the end of the plot, Nabile is lying in bed, gravley injured due to the spell... thing. The last picture is Jazan and Nightsteed talking about why Nightsteed's form didn't change when the curse lifted.
