One of Altador's 12 great heroes, The Darkest Faerie is a Dark Faerie so powerful she was sealed away at the bottom of the sea for 1,000 years by Fyora after she tried to force the kingdom of Altador under her rule. Since then her name has been forgotten, and is now simply referred to as the darkest and most evilest of all Faeries.

Plot Info
Neopets: The Darkest Faerie
During Neopets: The Darkest Faerie, The Darkest Faerie escaped from her imprisonment under the sea when Jerdana's Orb fell from her neck. Soon after that, she washed up on the shores of Meridell, claiming she was going to make everything dark and twisted. After Illusen's charm was stolen by the Werelupe King, nothing could stop The Darkest Faerie from taking over the land, and she quickly covered Meridell in a dark purple cloud, tainting all inhabitants under them with her evil.

Altador Plot
In the Altador Plot, users were required to find The Darkest Faerie's contellation, known as The Sleeper. Finding her constellation began to break down a spell that was cast over Altador to cover up it's history.

From the Book of Ages
<blockquote>Just as a hero must perform a heroic deed before he can be named as such, a villain must also do something terrible in order to earn such a title. The Betrayer was not always an evil being and was once even respected for her deeds. Long before the Great Betrayal, (in fact, before the founding of Altador), she earned her place among the twelve Founders by saving the life of King Altador himself.<br><br>

A terrible menace was plaguing a peaceful farmland, and a hunter (the future king of Altador) journeyed forth to slay the beast. He tracked it back to its lair in a cave at the base of a mountain and there cornered it. Though the beast roared viciously, Altador did not falter.<br><br>

Rather, he notched an arrow and let it fly, striking the beast squarely in the head. Even as the vile creature slumped to the ground, another of its kind snuck up on the unsuspecting Lupe. The noble hunter would have fallen then and there if not for a purple blast of magic. Startled, Altador spun around, just in time to see the other creature collapse. There, standing behind it, was a dark faerie... the Betrayer.<br><br>

Altador thanked her graciously for saving his life. He had never witnessed such compassion on the part of a dark faerie before, so he bid her to return with him to his village, where they would feast and be praised as heroes.<br><br>

Each carried the head of the beast they had slain to the village, and a grand celebration was held long into the night. Altador, realising what a unique ally he had acquired, asked her to stay and join him and his companions in fulfilling a dream he had of founding a great city. The Betrayer agreed, and though she would ultimately help to build the kingdom's august capital and serve the council well, nothing can make up for her terrible betrayal. She broke the king's heart, for no sword strikes as deep as the one wielded by a friend....</blockquote>

Trivia
*Sometimes referred to as Mistress of Nightmares.
*Random Events involving the Darkest Faerie...
**The Darkest Faerie appears to be deep in thought and doesn't notice you. You'd better run before she finds you and... well, you don't want to know what will happen.
*It was long thought the name of the Darkest Faerie was Jennumara, the Dark Faerie who had stolen the name of a Grey Faerie in her Neopedia article. However, this speculation was cleared in the editorial of issue 239 of the Neopian Times, stating they were two separate Dark Faeries.
The Xweetok is a Neopet originating from the forests of Neopia. They make their homes in hollowed out trees and logs, and are quite agile. Xweetoks enjoy being chased, and often indulge in games such as 'Tag' or 'Hide 'n' Seek' with others of its species.

The Xweetok was newly added to the website rather unexpectedly on November 30, 2005. It came with mixed reactions. Many members enjoyed it due to its likeness to real-life creatures, but with a Neopets-esque, coy look. Others disliked it due to the similarity to the Wocky and Acara. Still others thought that it was poorly drawn, and with people still holding their breath for the April Fool's pet and the Lutari, many found it annoying that Neopets had made two new pets (The other being the Ogrin) while they were waiting.

Still, the Xweetok is popular especially with younger players who are glad to get a cute-looking pet without having to buy a Paint Brush. Others love its Mutant look, which turns it into a rat-like creature.

The Lutari is an otter-like Neopet, released as a Limited Edition Neopet on April 19, 2006. Lutari are alert, friendly Neopets who enjoy playing games outside. They are excellent swimmers and spend much of their time in the water. Lutari get very upset at the thought of being left in the Neopian Pound, and will run away to parts unknown if a user even tries.

The Neopet's release was long awaited as images of the Neopet in its four basic colours as well as Island have been on the image servers for almost a year. The first time a Lutari was officially seen was at the opening of the Happy Valley Ice Cream shop in (need date), whose shopkeeper is a Lutari.

With the release of the Lutari, the launch of Lutari Island, a new Neopian world which will only be accessible via mobile phones, is expected imminently. It is being developed by the company In-fusio, but little else is known about Lutari Island, which has also been referred to as In-fusio Island. However, a picture of the land has appeared in the Neopets Magazine, and many Lutari Island items have been found on the servers, including two petpets.

Trivia
*As of May 15, 2006, there are 15,055 Lutari populating Neopia, ranking them 52nd in popularity.
*Was originally known as the Mok
*Users have expressed concern it may cost real money (through having to use a mobile phone) to acquire a Lutari as a pet, but this has since changed with the release of the Neopet.
*The Lutari is different from other Limited Edition Neopets as they are deleted if you attempt to abandon them, making transfer of the Neopet to a new owner impossible. There are Rumors that say the Lutari reappears in the create a petpage if pounded, but since no one is willing to pound one, it is unconfirmed. Made mention to in the editorial of issue 236 of the Neopian Times.
*A trophy called the Lutari Talisman has been added to all User Lookups on June 28, 2006. So far users can only see their own collected beads, but it's possible The Neopets Team will let other users see another's collected beads soon.
Most Petpets can be purchased in official Neopian shops, but some are gained only by other activities, such as using the Cooking Pot.

For a long time, Petpets could not be painted, but this was changed on October 2, 2001 with the introduction of the Petpet Paint Brush, which is used at the Petpet Puddle. Later, on August 3, 2005, the Petpet Lab Ray was introduced. Like the Neopet Lab Ray, the Petpet equivalent can alter a Petpet's colour and other statistics, such as species, level and name. The Petpet even has a chance of being completely destroyed.

A Petpet can also gain levels at the Petpet Battledome and by waking the Turmaculus, but its levels will not be retained if the Petpet is ever removed from its Neopet. In turn, these levels can help the Neopet in the Battledome, acting as an attack multiplier.

The sequel to Snow Wars. In this game, there are three stages of gameplay.

In stage one, your goal is to build snow fortresses around your snowmen before time runs out. Each snowman is only protected when completely enclosed within a snow fortress. The snow bricks vary in shape, so you must rotate them with the spacebar in order to get the best fit.

In stage two, you place Grundo-manned catapults within your fortress walls. The number of catapults you are given increases with the game level.

In stage three, the action begins. Your enemies are Lupes and Snow Beasts. The Snow Beasts man catapults that shoot snowballs at your snowmen, while the Lupes move in on foot and attack your snowmen by biting them. Using your mouse, you target the enemies and click on them to direct your Grundos to shoot.

If you destroy all the enemy catapults before your snowmen die, you move onto the next level, which begins again at stage one with reparation and building of your snow fortresses. During this placement of more snow blocks, however, the enemies continue to move closer and shoot at your snowmen. If you fail to fully enclose at least one snowman within a fortress, the game is over.
