====Act 1====
While playing as [[Jeran]] with his sister [[Lucy (Neopets: The Darkest Faerie)|Lucy]] (playing as [[Lord Darigan]]), Tormund accidentally releases the penned [[Whinny|Whinnies]] after tripping during a victory stance. After collecting every last Whinny, he's asked to do assorted chores for his parents, and his father eventually asked him to take a package to Meridell. For his protection he was given a wooden sword, and asked to treat it like a real weapon to be used with honour, like any knight would.

While travelling, he comes upon a [[Techo]] beggar ([[Kelland]] in disguise) being mugged by thieves, and for helping him the Techo gives him a magical amulet. When he arrives in Meridell, Tormund is robbed by [[Heermeedjet and Merouladen]], whom he chases back to their lair and is about to be outnumbered before the arrival of an ''Old Knight'' ([[King Altador]] in disguise). Chasing them off, the Old Knight then gives Tormund hope in being a potential knight, and begins to make preparations and returns home to ask permission to be a squire. Upon returning, however, he finds Lucy has wandered into the [[Shadowglen Woods]] and not returned. Chasing after her, Tormund defeats the [[Juppie Plant Beast]] and brings Lucy home, proving to his family his great skill to be a warrior, and received their blessing to be a knight.

Tormund returned to Meridell and began his training under [[Torakor|Torak]], but when no one would help the village [[Cogham]] from [[Ixi]] raiders, Tor met the Old Knight who gave him the courage to go and help the village in their time of need. Defeating the raid and the Ixi Chieftan, [[King Skarl]] knights him, dubbing him "Sir Tormund", Knight of Third Class. After Tormund receives more training and rests, he awakens to find all the knights went to [[Illusen]]'s Glade to fight werelupes, and have not yet returned. He finds the Old Knight again, who prompts Tormund to go and help the knights. Tormund saves the knights and defeats [[Gnarfas]], but the [[Werelupe King]] steals ''Illusen's Charm '', leaving [[Illusen]] weakened and allowing [[The Darkest Faerie]] to take control of her and knock Tormund from the treetops. When he awakens, he sees the dark clouds have spread all across Meridell.

Returning to Meridell Castle, Tormund finds The Darkest Faerie, the [[Dark Faerie Sisters]], and a possessed King Skarl in the throne room. The Faeries see and attack Tor, who barely escapes down a drain hole shown to him by [[Fauna]] (who was in disguise).

====Act 2====
[[Roberta]] and her trainer in magic, Seradar, travel to Faerieland to report the strange purple clouds to Fyora. However, things do get in the way. Roberta first must help an old aisha (Later in the game known as [[Jerdana]]) get her Harris down from a tree. After this, Roberta is given an identical amulet to Tor's. Then Roberta gets to do magic training while they wait for Fyora.
After Roberta gets her new robe and wand, it is time to meet with Fyora, then go to bed. But when Roberta wakes up, the castle is cursed with many minions. Fighting your way through them, you soon hear a call for help. Roberta follows this, and sees that the [[The Darkest Faerie]] is torturing Jerdana. Roberta goes to the clock tower to make some noise and distract her.
While she is distracted, Roberta goes to free Jerdana. Jerdana tells her to leave without her and find the amulet's twin. All that's left for Roberta to do is climb the endless staircase and then soon she meets up with Tormund in the third act.
Tor is not in this act.

====Act 3====
Washing up on the beaches of [[Brightvale]], Tormund meets up with [[Roberta]] as she falls from [[Faerieland]]. He finds she has a pair of the amulet he wears, and they start an adventure together. After defeating the evil across the land, they sneak into Meridell city and into the lair of Heermeedjet and Merouladen, who show them secret entrance to the treasure room, which contains ''Fyora's Rod'', a weapon capable of defeating the evil of The darkest Faerie.

After Tormund and Roberta make it through Meridell castle and into the king's chambers, they defeat the Dark Faerie Sisters after Roberta neutralizes their defence with Fyora's Rod. She then uses Fyora's Rod to free King Skarl out of possession, who immediately takes the rod from her and dispels the dark clouds over Meridell. After proclaiming how useful Fyora's Rod was, he throws it over his head, and Roberta saves it from falling to the floor. King Skarl then gives all the credit to himself and Tormund, while Roberta gets mad. When King Skarl walks away, Roberta calls [[Solarin]] to fly them to Faerieland to face The Darkest Faerie.

Upon reaching the captured [[Fyora]], Roberta gives her Fyora's Rod, and Fyora reveals herself as really the Darkest Faerie in disguise, when the real Fyora breaks free of her bonds and fights her. As the fight occurs, Fyora gives Tormund and Roberta orders to activate a teleporter to go to [[Altador]] and find [[Jerdana]], which they do as Fyora is imprisoned in a bottle.
