==Plot summary==
Members of the The Neopets Team arrived on [[Mystery Island]] on August 18, allowing users to vote which one would be sacrificed first. On August 25, [[Monster Boy]] was chosen as the first victim, and tied up to a raft and presented to Mumbo Pango by an island native and the [[Island Mystic]]. The shadow of Mumbo Pango covered Monster Boy, and though his true fate is unknown, it's known he did not survive whatever happened. Soon afterwords, two more members of The Neopets Team (unknown which ones) were added to be voted upon.

Next week, [[Styrofoam Bob]] was chosen. Tied up next to the The [[Tiki Tack Man]], Styrofoam Bob began to run to the boat on the other end of the dock, but was caught in the hand of Mumbo Pango. It's also unknown what happened to Styrofoam Bob, but he didn't survive either.

The week after, [[Cookie]] was the third victim to be sacrificed to Mumbo Pango, and was dropped off near a cliff where he chased and pushed her off to he death.

[[Zurvix]]: Poison gas. Starting at his death, a message would appear. "Good night, Zurvix Wombatslayer"

[[Paper Dragon]]: Burned at stake. "Burn, baby, burn"

[[Number 6]]: Drowned (we assume - Adam evidently wrote this, and Number Six floats down the river strapped to a wooden circle and off a waterfall; however he is not fixed to be 'dead')

[[Mr. Plaid]]: Catapulted to the sun and incinerated. "To the sun, Mr. Plaid."

[[Electric Blue Monkey]] was the 8th victim to be sacrificed to Mumbo Pango after trying to leave the island by boat. The boat disappeared under him as he jumped in, and he was chased down by a [[Wikipedia:crocodile|crocodile]] which was Mumbo Pango in disguise. Electric Blue Monkey was chased off the screen and screamed when Mumbo Pango caught up to him, either eaten of drowned (because of a bubbling sound of Electric Blue Monkey believed to be sinking in the water). "Your Electric Blue Monkey powers will not save you"

'''Jelly World''' is a [[Neopia]]n world constructed entirely of [[jelly]]. The cause of its creation is unknown, although it has been suggested that it may have been commissioned by an eccentric billionaire or the result of some form of magic spell.

The first reference to Jelly World was in the New Features section on 30th March 2002, where it says "...and of course the upcoming new world 'Jelly World'...". Countless times [[The Neopets Team]] has denied the existence of Jelly World (which, interestingly, was TNT's first reaction to [[Robot]] Neopets). Jelly World has had several links to it by people claiming it exists throughout Neopia, including one in a quote by [[Number Five]] in [[Cellblock]], but many the links are dead ends, similar to some of the links given to the [[Hidden Tower]].

The most notable attraction is the [[Giant Jelly]], similar to the [[Giant Omelette]] in [[Tyrannia]], which gives out a free piece of jelly to its visitors once per day, unless it has run out. Should it have done so, it is regularly replaced. Each piece of jelly gives two servings.

The games [[Jelly Blobs of Doom]] and [[Bouncy Supreme]] are also available, and cannot be reached from the standard Games page, even by searching for them.

Jelly World's [[Altador Cup|Yooyuball]] team is almost unknown, due to the fact hardly any information is presented about them. Later that night, objects began floating into air and attacking them, and then the [[Ghost Lupe]] appeared, chasing them out of the Neohome. They ran to the Defenders of Neopia Headquarters to get help and soon after the Ghost Lupe was caught in a ghost trap.

As they enter, a [[Cave Chia]] spots them after they almost fall over an edge. Feeling they are being watched, the Aisha wants to leave, but the Kacheek insists on continuing. They are both caught by the Cave Chia and hung in a cage high above the ground. Televised news reports they have gone missing and Judge Hog calls forth the Defenders of Neopia, finding and capturing the Cave Chia, saving the Neopets.

Judge hog wakes up hours later hanging upsidedown, about to be fed to monstrous Noils in Chuckles hideout.

To find Mr. Chuckles, users you had to ask [[Sidney]] where he went, and find he went to [[Arnold ]] at [[Test Your Strength]], who said he went off to [[Coconut Shy]]. After searching the area, Mr. Chuckles' lair was found, and users were able to save Judge Hog.

Jazan was tricked into unleashing his father by a false prophecy, telling him that if he married a Sakhmet princess, the curse would be lifted. He at first tried to get princess [[Amira]] to marry him, but when [[Nabile]] was revealed to be a princess too and much more openhearted towards him, he married her instead.

The curse was not lifted however, and he eventually sent her back to Sakhmet City, hoping she'd be happier there. After her departure, he severely weakened from lack of food and sorrow.
When his father, [[Razul]], later went to destroy Sakhmet, Jazan felt Nabile to be in danger and went to find her. He met his father, but was not able to stand up to him. Nabile, however, caught the attack on him, and seeing her nearly dead angered Jazan so much that it gave him more power, enough to defeat Razul.

Soon, however, Jazan's father, [[Razul]], attacked Sakhmet after being freed from his imprisonment, seemingly because of Nabile and Jazan's marriage.

As his attack took place, the weak and dying Jazan realized his beloved was in danger and came to her rescue, but things had turned out differently as Nabile ended up saving him by standing in front of an attack made by Razul which was meant to kill Jazan.

The '''Staff of Alhasutek''' is a powerful magical weapon that featured in the [[Brucey B and the Lucky Coin]] plot, taken from the ''Great Pyramid'' - later called the ''Gebmid'' - in the [[Lost Desert]] by [[Dr. Frank Sloth]].

According to the plot, it was lost for thousands of years and became a thing of legend. Dr. Sloth clearly knew about it: he looked particularly for the staff when he raided the treasure trove, and recognised the value of [[Brucey B]]'s coin as soon as he saw it.

==The powers of the Staff==
The Staff of Alhasutek showed demonstrated several powers during its brief use by Dr. Sloth. He used the staff to disfigure [[Princess Fernypoo]] and [[Capara]], turned the two [[Neopet]]s into a hag and a snake respectively. These transformations appear to be directly related to the characters fears, but whether the Staff detected this and acted accordingly or Dr. Sloth knew these fears and used the staff to apply them - if the latter, it begs the question as to how he knew, and if the staff may have supplied him with this knowledge - is not known.

The staff also created the [[Rock Beast]], the ''boss'' character of the war, and Dr. Sloth seemed to believe it could reanimate it.

When broken at the end of the plot, the staff released counter spells that restored its disfigurations.

==Etymology==
The origin of the name ''Alhasutek'' is unknown. It does not appear to be an anagram for anything with significance, and it is only mentioned in relation to the staff twice - both occasions in Brucey B's letter to the [[Neopian]] population.

One theory relates to [[Sutek]], the [[Geb]] in whose honour the Great Gebmid was built. The Great Gebmid was designed to house Sutek's riches, and it would appear that the Staff of Alhasutek was found among these. The latter part of the name, therefore, may have some relation to its storing.

Sutek was a kind Geb, however, so it may be possible that the phrase ''sutek'' means friendly, or similar, and that ''alha'' would contradict this, hence, roughly, the ''Staff of Fears''. This conforms to what magic the staff has been witnessed to perform.

Lord Kass took over rule of the Citadel through threats and bribery, disposing of those who apposed him, and then started a campaign of propaganda against King Skarl and Meridell. This culminated in an invasion of the land the citadel floated over, with the castle's weakness to air-based attacks was exploited, as noted by the ''Meridell Castle'' [[TCG]] card.

In Meridell during this time, Lord Darigan had surfaced. He had lost almost all his memories and was completely mad, stalking farmer's fields as ''The Bat-Thing'', until he took up lodging for a short while in a barn, fed by a little [[Usul]] girl.

This invasion was more effective that the previous as Lord Kass used the powers of his enchantress [[Morguss]] to first stop King Skarl ordering the defence of his border (by enchanting him with the dance of Morguss's daughter) and possessing Meridell's own peasants to fight what little forces had been sent to the front. [[Kayla]]'s own magical efforts allowed, once Skarl had been disenchanted, an effective Meridell counterattack to Kass's large war machines.

During this time, the farm Lord Darigan had taken as his housing was raided, and when he fought off several soldiers to protect the Usul that had helped him, the guards' reactions prompted him to remember who he was, and he flew off to the Citadel, silhouetted by the moon.

A second counterattack, lead by Jeran, attacked the Citadel itself from the air. However, this sneak attack was met by a well prepared Lord Kass, and despite their only being a skeleton force on the Citadel itself, the attack quickly dispatched, Jeran himself plunging over the side of the floating fortress. Lord Darigan arrived shortly after, to Lord Kass' horror, and they sparred, Lord Kass determined to fix the "mistake" of Lord Darigan being left alive, but Lord Darigan won over and Kass fell to the floor, where his amulet smashed and [[The Three]] stole him away for his failure.

At first it achieved this, but their wishes soon transformed them into horribly twisted forms. After putting the blame on one family, they forced two of it's members into the woods ([[Sophie]] and [[Bruno]]) and burned their house down. The townspeople started to attack each other but the Mayor managed to assemble order, saying they needed to be cured by [[The Spirit of Slumber]]. This spirit had lifited the elixer's curse, but at a terrible price, which is their bodies.

Mr. Krawley appeared in [[Neovia]] (unnamed at the time) before [[Bruno]], offering him a potion to give him what he desired. Soon after, everyone in Neovia was taking his miracle elixer. It was soon revealed the potions were cursed, and the inhabitants of the city were turned into monstrous forms of their own desires, and sought revenge for what Mr. Krawley did to them. He disappered before this could happen, however, and they moved their anger to Bruno and his family instead.

After Neovia's inhabitants went under a different curse from [[The Spirit of Slumber]], Mr. Krawley appeared to the suffering staff of [[Meepit Oaks]] in the guise of Dr. Edward Alexander. Giving the inmates a potion which seemed to calm them, he left a flower in nurse [[Lucy]]'s care before leaving the upcoming chaos he left behind.

10 years later, [[Gilly]] arrived at a gypsy camp where Mr. Krawley (disguised as a Pink Elephante) told her ''The Tale of Woe'' and the fate of Neovia. Weeks later on [[Halloween]] when the cursed Neovia was about to attack Bruno and Gilly, Mr. Krawley was spotted and Gilly gave him chase to Meepit Oaks, where she discovered the flower left to Lucy, the final ingredient to cure Neovia. When the village was cured, Gilly spotted him watching as [[Sophie]] said her goodbyes to her family and magically disappeared, leaving purple smoke behind.
