A '''Faggot''' is a virtual pet users raise and play with on [[Neopets]]. There are many different Neopets, and come in many shapes, sizes, and species, but they are all considered Neopets. As of 2009, there are currently 54 different species.

==Neopet care==
For a user to care for a Neopet, they must make sure they are fed and happy.

===Mood===
A Neopets mood, being happy or sad, is changed by user actions around the website. There are ten levels of happiness, from least to most happy:

*Depressed
*Very unhappy
*Miserable
*Unhappy
*Content
*Happy
*Cheerful
*Extremely happy
*Joyful
*Delighted!

There are numerous ways to change a Neopets happiness, such as playing with a [[toy]], [[grooming]] them, riding the [[Roo Island Merry Go Round]] or eating a [[Negg|Happy Negg]]. To see the Neopets current happiness level, a user can go to the [http://www.neopets.com/quickref.phtml Quick Reference] page. If a Neopet happens to be [[Disease|sick]] when this is done, however, its happiness will be lowered.

The only known effect of happiness occurs from a rare [[random event]] when a user's Neopet is unhappy. Should the Neopet be unhappy when it occurs, its [[Paint Brush|colour]] turns to blue if really sad, or red if angry, and green if really sick.

While a Neopet's happiness doesn't effect gameplay and doesn't need to be changed, it's generally considered mean not to keep a Neopet happy.

===Hunger===
Just like real life creatures, Neopets become hungry over time, and must be fed to become full again. Neopets can be any of the following levels of fullness:

*Dying
*Starving
*Famished
*Very hungry
*Hungry
*Not hungry
*Fine
*Satiated
*Full up
*Very full
*Bloated
*Very bloated

Neopets can be fed with any [[food]] item, of which will lower its hunger (though it can sometimes be in the same state of hunger even when fed, which is random). Food is acquired with the Neopoints users gather. Should a user not have enough Neopoints to buy food for their Neopet, they can go to the [[Soup Faerie|soup kitchen]] which will feed a users Neopets if they have under 3000 NP (including their bank account). They can also gather food by going to [[Dailies]], visit the [[Healing Springs]] which will sometimes make a users active Neopet bloated, or complete an [[Earth Faerie]] [[Faerie Quest]] which will make a random Neopet bloated. Also, Jetsam can eat Aquatic Petpets and Grarrls and Skeiths can eat any non-food items, allowing a user to save Neopoints and other food items while feeding them items they don't want.

Unlike a Neopet's mood, hunger has a direct affect on how Neopets is played, because Neopets who are hungry (or not hungry, if it shows up red) cannot fight in the [[battledome]]. However, despite the name of the most desperate hunger level, dying, a Neopet cannot actually die of hunger.

==Losing a Neopet==
The only way a user could lose their Neopet is if the owner abondons the pet themselves at the Neopian Pound or if the Neopets Team deletes the Neopet if its name contains profanity.

==Neopet lookup==
Besides the species and colour of the Neopet, there are many other characteristics which can show the difference between each of them. Among all the statistics a Neopet can have, there are also those which can be raised in the [[Training School]] for use in the [[Battledome]]. Outside of the Battledome, these stats don't have much use, but as of late [[The Neopets Team]] have implemented a few of them into puzzle plots.

'''NeoQuest ll''' is a shit playing crap within [[Neopets]] created by [[Mr. Insane]], sequel to [[NeoQuest I]]. In this version, a new battle system was implemented, along with the use of more party members (a total of 4).

==Plot summary==
Following the same medieval and "in the past" feel, users control the role of Rohane who is presented as the son of a knight in [[Trestin]] of [[Meridell]], but in actuallity is a captain of a spaceship who is stuck in a hologram simulation. While playing, Rohane travels through 4 other lands ([[Terror Mountain]], The [[Lost Desert]], The [[Haunted Woods]], and [[Faerieland]]) meeting his other crew members ([[Mipsy]], [[Talinia]], and [[Velm]]) along the way, who are locked within simulation booths as well. Together, they try to regain control of the hijacked space ship which is heading towards the sun.

===Chapter 1===
[[Ramtor]], [[King Skarl]]'s advisor, takes the throne of [[Meridell]] from him and puts him in his tower's dungeon, and slowly begins to take over the land. In Trestin, Rohane notices this change in the land and decides to head out on an adventure with his Father's sword. Along the way he encounters his shipmate Mipsy and adds her to his party.

===Chapter 2===
Rohane and Mipsy arrive in [[Terror Mountain]], where the paths across the mountain become clogged with snow, making it difficult to traverse, and monsters are swarming all the passes. After defeating [[Leximp]] and helping a city of [[Chia]]s, they meet [[Talinia]], who joins them. After defeating [[Kolvars]] they eventually come to the [[Snowager]], who was trapped by [[Scuzzy]]. After defeating Scuzzy the [[Snowager]] is released, and he's revealed to be the overseer program and, and the snow the clogged data routes of the space ships computer.

===Chapter 3===
A sandstorm rages in the [[Lost Desert]], and [[Princess Vyssa]] seeks a relic, the Medallion of the Wind, designed to control the weather. First, the group defeats [[Siliclast]] and retrieves the Celestial Talisman, which points to the direction of the Medallion. Then, they defeat [[Gebarn II]] and retrieve the first piece of the Medallion. Then, [[Velm]] joins the group and together, they defeat the Renevant and rescue Lifira, the librarian. Lifira tells the group a password. When the group tells the hermit the password the hermit reveals information about the 2nd piece of the Medallion. After finding the 2nd piece, they defeat [[King Coltzan|Coltzan's Ghost]] who reveals the 3rd and final piece of the Medallion. Then, the group finds a gemstone, which makes the Medallion complete. After that, the group goes to Zakharukh's Pyramid, where the Medallion must be taken for the weather to be restored.

===Chapter 4===
Rohane appears in the [[Haunted Woods]], where a spell has been cast on the sun, keeping it stuck in the sky all day long, making it difficult for the residents as ghosts began to live in their houses, and keeing other such creatures in seclusion. Residents of [[Shadow Gulch]] say it was [[Count Von Roo]] who cast the spell on the sun, but it turns out he was trying to cast a counter-spell, and was being held hostage by [[Meuka]]. After they defeated Meuka, the Count explained [[Balthazar]], [[Hubrid Nox]], and the [[Spider Grundo]] worked in collaboration to cast the real spell. After defeating the Spider Grundo, he said that Balthazar casted the spell, but Balthazar said Hubrid Nox casted the spell. So they defeated Hubrid Nox, but he explains that it's actually [[Edna]] who casted the spell.

After defeating the [[Esophagor]] which blocked the path to Edna, Rohane confronted her about the curse, and she said she was trying to keep the sun down, but messed up, possibly from too much ''[[Kadoatie]] Fur''. When asked if she could reverse the spell, she said no and dropped her ruse, revealing herself to one one of the AI in the ship's computer. The spell was meant to slow down the virus, but having got it backwards, the virus was more powerful than ever.

Mipsy then figured out how to access the ships computer through the simulator, and discovered they were not far from the sun, and a new simulation of [[Faerieland]] opened up, which could be seen through the clouds. Taliania noticed there was something wrong with it, and Edna wished them luck, and told them to hurry as there wasn't much time left.

===Chapter 5===
Coming into [[Faerieland]], Rohane and company discovered it was overrun by mercenaries and monsters after The Dark Faeries rebelled. Many of the cloud paths were destroyed, including ''The Bridge of Mist'' by a giant [[Devilpuss]]. Traveling through what remained of the clouds, Rohane defeated the [[Fallen Angel]] and giant Devilpuss on the way to the Faerie City. Once inside, they defeated [[The Faerie Thief]] who was coordinating monster attacks, and learned the Faerie Palace was overrun by the forces of a dragon calling himself [[King Terask]], who had taken the throne from [[Fyora]], the path to which was locked by two [[Pant Devil]]s. They eventually are freed fom their simulation booths after defeating King Terask twice. Then, they manage to steer their ship away from the sun seconds before they would crash into the sun.

*The slogan of the game is "Live in your world. Get devoured by a Vampire Bearog in mine." This is similar to PlayStation 2's slogan: "Live in your world, play in ours." Also, there isn't a vampire bearog in any of the NeoQuest series.
*The lost city of Phorofor: Phorofor sounds a bit like 404 (which is the HTTP error code for "not found").
*The phrase for Phorofor "ad ro un ta en" is made up of syllables from "En taro adun", which happens to be from the game Starcraft.
*Mipsy says "I wish I didn't have these stupid shoes" throughout the game but doesn't have shoes until near the end of the game.

==Gameplay==
Users are put in the role of the [[Neoquest Hero]], who is called my the name of the users current main [[Neopet]] (allowing each Neopet to have their own game). Users control his/her quest to stem back the tide of evil in the world of [[Neopia]] 1,000 years ago.
Users are given an overhead view - the size of which varies depending on the light level: in a cave, one has a smaller view than outside - as they move about Neopia via clicking on the compass arrows provided. Each time the user moves in an area infested with monsters, there is a chance at a random fight with one of them. Should the user win, they receive experience and items (if they are allowed them). Experience is collected to gain levels, which make the user stronger and gives them a skill point to use. Level 50 is the max.

Users are rewarded with [[Neopoint]]s during gameplay for gaining levels and defeating bosses. A total of 30,625 NP can be gained from gaining all levels, and 13,250 NP is gained from all 12 bosses in regular play. And extra 7,500 and 17,500 NP can be received from the extra bosses in Evil and Insane difficulties due to the extra bosses. A trophy is also rewarded for each difficulty defeated.

When NeoQuest I was first released, a contest was held to reward the first 5 users to defeat each difficulty. These users were rewarded special [[Battledome Equipment]] and a special second set of tropies.

Although it is not listed under the highscores, Neoquest does in fact have its own version of a highscores table. When in the game clicking on [http://www.neopets.com/games/neoquest.phtml?section=leaders Leader Boards] will take you to a list of the first people to beat NeoQuest I, the fastest wins and those with the most wins. New entries into these lists do not gain a user rewards, but it allows them to at least lay claim to a certain task.

==Plot summary==

It all dates back to the old days of the Neopian Empire - once great and proud, it's cities lived prosperously.

There was magic in the land, and that is real magic - not the faerie one we have today. A group of powerful magicians, called the Circle Of Twelve was once assembled - and for a time it was good. Featuring [[Jahbal]] and [[Xantan]], the group was set out to wreak havoc in Neopia some time later, as the group's leader, Jahbal, grew mad with power.

Xantan was exiled by the Circle Of Twelve, with most of his power stripped away. He has, since then, made a cave near Neopia City his home.

Being Mad, Jahbal decided to start a war against all others. Some of Empire's cities fell... others stood up to face Jahbal. So did the city of Kal Panning, and it's leader [[Faelinn]].

Eventually, Jahbal defeated Kal Panning's defenders, and turned the city's population into zombies. The other members of the Circle seen the error of their ways (and who they were allying themselves with), and decided to get rid of Jahbal. Jahbal, however made spyed on the Council members, and decided to flee to the Two Rings Castle.

The group of wizards decided not to hunt Jahbal down, for noone knew what arterfacts of power there were in his castle - and cast a sealing spell on the entire Two Rings Range. Nothing is supposed to make it throught that barrier - and at that, they settled.

Somehow, Jahbal has found a way to break through the barrier. Although he himself could never pass the barrier, his magic reached out to the outside world, and created monsters. The monsters, in turn, were ordered to hunt down The Empire's leaders - disabling the empire. Many fell, far more suffered; the seeds of destruction were sown.

Jahbal continued to create monsters... and soon the Empire collapsed. Only the most well defended cities were still standing.

So the [[NeoQuest Hero]] begins his quest of determining why Ancient Neopia has been overrun by monsters, beginning in Neopia City. After hearing from [[Eleus Batrin]] about Xantan the Foul, he goes to the Dank Cave to the west and defeats Xantan. After that, he explores to the west to Neopia City, going into a jungle and entering the Jungle Ruins.

In the Jungle Ruins, he meets a teacher in a dungeon, and helps by defeating [[Kreai]] who captured the teacher. Then, the NeoQuest Hero goes down lower into th second dungeon, and enters Gors' garden. He meets the teacher's student who is trapped in a classroom by [[Gors the Mighty]]. So he defeats Gors, and after hearing more, he goes down to the lowest dungeon level, and defeats [[Rollay Scaleback]].

After all the bosses in the Jungle Ruins are defeated, the NeoQuest Hero moves west, crossing a swamp and entering the Desert of Roo, where he enters the Temple of Roo and goes through to defeat the [[Archmagus of Roo]], and brings to [[Erick]] a clouded gem, which is transformed into the coruscating gem.

After that, the NeoQuest Hero goes through the Techo Caves, and enters the Mountain Fortress, where there are 5 bosses, which are the Guardian of Fire, Ice, Shock, Spectral, and Life Magic. After that, he exits the Techo Caves and goes east, and meets [[Eleus Batrin]]'s former teacher Gali Yoj who tells him where to go next. So the NeoQuest Hero enters Kal Panning, where he defeats [[Faleinn]], who gives him th ekey to the Two Rings Palace. So eventually, the hero goes through the Two Rings Cave, goes through the levels of Two Rings Palace, and defeats the final boss(es): [[Jahbal]], [[Mastermind]] (only on evil & insane mode), and [[Xantan]] Reborn (only insane mode).

==Time restrictions==
Due to the large number of page views and popularity when the game was first available, Neopets' servers ran very slowly for some time. When it first opened, it kept bringing down the Neopets server, which were incapable of handling the game at the time. As a temporary fix, they only allowed users to play in the mornings (Eastern Standard Time), and prevented play during any other time. This ban was lifted on August 24, 2002. Since then, there have been no such restrictions and Neoquest can now be played at any given time during the day.

Upon the release of the redesigned Games Room, Aristotle set users a selection of gaming related challengers on a number of qualifying Flash Games. There were twelve challenges, five of which had hidden terms that were not revealed until the challenge was completed. Challenges included sending a score on a set number of of games, sending a challenge card, sending multiple challenge cards, and adding a game to the users favourite games list.

Completion of each of the challenges earned the user a random prize, but all the challenges had to be completed in 8 days of the plot's release. Originally, this was going to be a day less, but was extended because users under 13 (without parental permission) were having technical difficulties with the challenges.

Every day for the month of March, in 2007, Aristotle challenged users to beat his score in a differing game each day. Additionally, his sister Abigail also laid down a lower score that users could challenge if they wished to, instead of Aristotle's. The user did not need to stick to one or the other's score to challenge in each of the different games - they could challenge AAA's score one day and his sisters the next, for example, should they wish to.

Completion of each day's challenge awarded the user with a prize. The prize items were solely released in conjunction with this plot, unlike the Games Master Challenge.

Additionally, there were additional prizes available for beating AAA at each game on their day of release, for beating AAA or Abigail at each game on their day of release, for defeating AAA at all of his games by the end of the challenge, and for defeating AAA or Abigail at all of the games by the end of the challenge.

The fucking idea fucking was to be able to protect pages so that only registered users are able to edit them, not making the fucking wiki "IP-free". We had this before on our German wiki, but I think this made the fucking wiki less attractive to writers. The fucking method i would use: I would save the fucking "clean" version of the fucking talk pages (which have not been used for anything except vandalism and letting people know about it to begin with), and delete the fucking talk page. would then recreate it with the fucking clean talk page. all the fucking revisions would still be saved for us admins to look over (deleted as they are), and the fucking new history would be clean slate. I think it's better than having over 250 revisions of xanax and other spammed edit summaries confusing people...yes, there have been over 250 vandalisms on the fucking armada fucking page. :(

Yes, we ''are'' following the fucking [[NeoDex:Categorization|categorization rules]] set. Individual games will not be labelled with the fucking "Games" category, but all the fucking sub-categories (action, puzzle, etc.) of game types it belongs to ([[Scourge of the fucking Lab Jellies]] is a fucking "board game" and "puzzle"). Only if there is no sub-category for it to go in should a fucking game be placed in the fucking games category. Game articles which already have the fucking games category attached to them are that way because they haven't been taken off yet.

It's extremely helpful but it is a waste of time to edit the talk pages and it is best that the talk pages remain unedited other than for markup reasons like my moving your question into a new section. Also, if you were to go through and edit for typos every talk page in the Neodex, there would be no edits other than that, which is silly. Please, if you want to be helpful, edit real pages. :I don't have issues with empty categories, only when creating the empty category is the only thing you do on the page. The page you reference was greatly enhanced (rewritten/ links added, etc.) when that section was created (and left blank). Do you understand the difference? If you create an entirely new page but don't have all the info for it but have an idea of what sort of sections should exist but don't have the time or information to fill them in completely, that's perfectly understandable. If all you do is open up an already created article and add a section and "(to be added)" or "coming soon" and nothing else, that's a bit of a waste in my opinion.
