The Kaus' milk has restorative powers. Gentle and peace loving, Kaus love large green pastures on which it can feed itself. In battle, the Kaus focus is more defensive than offensive, but that doesn't mean it can't still pack a punch. Its horns are good enough to teach those foolish enough to annoy it a lesson they won't forget. One of the original Neopets released on the site, the Lenny is a highly intelligent and curious bird and perhaps [[Neopia]]'s most intelligent species, as made apparent by such Lennies as the [[Conundrum Lenny]] and [[Finneus]]. They can master many forms of magic and use their cunning to outwit any opponent. Lennies can fly, but their wings can only carry them short distances, and usually only to a hover. The Wheel of Excitement is a wheel found in [[Faerieland]]. Based on the wheel games of real life, one must spin it so that the pointer lands on one space of the board. You can spin it once every 2 hours, and it will cost you 150 NP to do so. Depending on what it points to, you will win a prize.

A '''Faerie Quest''' is a special [[Quest]] given by a random [[Random Event]] where a user is asked to help and give an [[item]] a certain [[Faerie]]. These [[quest]]s are given out by Uber Faeries, extra powerful versions of the basic Faeries.

When a user has a [[Faerie Quest]], they are unable to use the Shop Wizard. Because of this rule many [[guild]]s and communities with the purpose of helping others find their items have been created, because while one user is unable to use the Shop Wizard, another can. The Quests boards on the Neoboards state 'Need help with a quest? The kind folks in here are willing to lend a hand!'. Sometimes called ''Quest Partners'', this user will search for the item on the Shop Wizard and either:
#Give the username of of the shop owner to the user with the quest.
#Buy the item and put it up in the [[Trading Post]] for the user.
#Give the item freely to the user.

Quest Partners are usually two users who live in the same or similar time zones. It's against [[Neopets Terms and Conditions]] for one user to use a side account to find their quest item.

Upon returning with the specific item to the [http://neopets.com/quests.phtml Faerie Quest HQ], the Uber Faerie will reward a random [[Neopet]] of the users (said to be the most deserving of the gift by the faeries). All rewards raises the Neopets stats with the exception of the [[Earth Faerie]] and [[Fountain Faerie]] quests, which feeds your Neopet to "Bloated" and gives a free pass to the [[Rainbow Fountain]], respectfully.

Unlike other quests, such as the [[Esophagor]]'s or [[Jhudora]]'s, one cannot use the [[Shop Wizard]] while a quest is in progress. To compensate for this limitation, there is no time limit to when the user can get the item. However, as the shop wizard cannot be used, it can become a nusiance for people who do not or cannot complete the Faerie Quest. If a user does not wish to complete a quest, they can refuse it at the [http://neopets.com/quests.phtml Faerie Quest HQ].

Doing so will penalize the user from having another quest for ten minutes, after which the user must visit the page again to be allowed to take another quest. It's also believed by some the likelyhood of recieving a Faerie Quest thereafter is lowered, similar to the way [[Karma]] works.

Earth Faerie Quests are usually considered not worth the expense, as a user must find a [[Magic Item]], which is either very expensive or cheap depending on the item, and in return feeds users Neopet, which is a low-cost activity.

==Faerie Quest Types==
Each of the six Uber Faeries asks for a random item of a certain type. Below is a list of each Uber Faerie, what types of items they ask for, and which stat they improve.

*[[Fire Faerie]]: Asks for [[Clothes]], Raises Strength.
*[[Light Faerie]]: Asks for [[Collectable Card]]s, Raises Level.
*[[Earth Faerie]]: Asks for [[Magic Item]]s, Feeds all Pets and Heals all pets to full Health.
*[[Air Faerie]]: Asks for [[Grooming]] items, Raises Speed.
*[[Dark Faerie]]: Asks for [[Toys]], Raises HP.
