Poogles are a cat-like neopet with a cuddly appearence and razor-sharp teeth. Because they are limited edition, Poogles are rare in Neopia. A few are made available on the site periodically; players can also use certain items to change their already existing pets into Poogles.They were introduced on July 14, 2000.

==Overview==
The Poogle is a rather pudgy, four-legged species, which resembles a stub-tailed Scottish Fold cat. They come from Terror Mountain, and are considered cute in appearance. Beware, they have very sharp teeth!

The '''Xweetok''' is a [[Wikipedia:Chipmunk|chipmunk]]-like [[Neopet]] released on November 30, 2005. Originating from the forests of [[Neopia]], they make their homes in hollowed out trees and logs, and are quite agile. Xweetoks enjoy being chased, and often indulge in games such as 'Tag' or 'Hide 'n' Seek' with others of its species.

The Xweetok was newly added to the website rather unexpectedly, and came with mixed reactions. Many members enjoyed it due to its likeness to real-life creatures, but with a Neopets-esque, coy look. Others disliked it due to the similarity to the [[Wocky]] and [[Acara]]. Still others thought that it was poorly drawn, and with people still holding their breath for the [[April Fool's]] pet and the [[Lutari]], many found it annoying Neopets had made two new pets (The other being the [[Ogrin]]) while they were waiting.

Still, the Xweetok is popular, especially with younger players who are glad to get a cute-looking pet without having to buy a [[Paint Brush]]. Others love its [[Mutant]] look, which turns it into a [[Wikipedia:Rat|rat]]-like creature. Since it was released, it has shot up the popularity charts, to land at #6 as of August 23, 2008, setting a new record for the fastest-growing new species population.

Xweetoks are furry,cuddly creatures who enjoy active games such as tag and hide-and-seek. They are very swiftand love being chased.They supposedly take good care of their petpets and love jellybeans.They have only appeared once, in the Journey to the Lost Isle plot, and not on any game, merchandise, nor TCG card.

The Kaus' milk has restorative powers. Gentle and peace loving, Kaus love large green pastures on which it can feed itself. In battle, the Kaus focus is more defensive than offensive, but that doesn't mean it can't still pack a punch. Its horns are good enough to teach those foolish enough to annoy it a lesson they won't forget. Kaus are natural mothers, and should anyone choose to search for one to befriend, look no further than a hospital or community orientated project. Also extremely intelligent, Kaus are known for their magical potion-making ingenuity.

==Overview==
Kaus travel in herds moving from ield to field looking for the best Neopian pastures to play in. They love to sing, but they only know "MOOOOOO!!!"
The Kau resembles a cow. Kaus generally move in herds and enjoy singing. They are shy, but have no problem using their horns if threatened. The pet now known as the Kau was originally named Macy Gray, and was designed to look like the singer carrying a ray gun. They are considered to be good battledome pets, because they have cheap weapons and have 10% resistance to everything.

As of June 2008, the Kau can come in 40 different [[Rainbow Pool|colours]]. The Spotted Kau resembles a real cow.

The '''Cybunny''' is a [[Limited Edition]] [[Neopet]] released on July 10, 2000. Similar to the real life [[Wikipedia:Rabbit|rabbits]], the majority of Cybunnies live in the colder regions of [[Neopia]]. Their thick white fur not only keeps them warm, but also helps them blend in with the snowy mountainside, easily disguising themselves in the snow. Cybunnies are quick and can disappear in the blink of an eye, love to frolic in the in the winter air. They enjoy a game of [[Snow Wars]], and happiest when there is more than enough food to go around.

Because they are limited edition, Cybunnies are very rare in Neopia. On special occasions more Cybunnies are made available to own, but a user can also use a [[Morphing Potion]], the [[Lab Ray]], or a magical plushie on one of their current Neopets to acquire a one.

The '''Zafara''' is a [[Wikipedia:Kangaroo|kangaroo]]-like [[Neopet]] released on May 25, 2000 as the winner of a player-submitted Neopet competition. Zafaras originally resembled a cross between a [[Wikipedia:Ferret|ferret]] and a [[Wikipedia:Chinese dragon|Chinese dragon]], but were later redesigned on February 27, 2001. They are now crosses between a Kangaroo and a rabbit.

==Overview==
The Zafara is said to bring good luck to those who treat them well. According to a Neopet profiles [http://images.neopets.com/screensavers/profiles.exe screensaver], Zafaras are some of the most sensitive and artistic inhabitants of Neopia. Most Zafaras spend a lot of time playing alone when young, but often grow up to be famous musicians, painters and poets.

Zafaras primarily have three spikes on their back, but this changes in accordance with different colours and characters. According to the information on an old default Zafara [[petpage]], these spikes were protective fins and used for defence. Zafaras have an incredible hearing range, but they do not have a good sense of smell. Due to their powerful hind legs, the Zafara has a jumping ability unlike other Neopets. Zafaras have an innate ability to create fire (possibly a reference to their original dragonlike appearance) as made apparent with their level 2 [[Battledome]] ability ''Zafara Flame''.

The '''Usul''' is a [[Wikipedia:Squirrel|squirrel]]-like [[Neopet]] released on November 15, 1999 as one of the original Neopets on the site. Usuls are loyal and friendly pets who prefer to live in trees. During cold weather, Usuls are the first to share their food with friends.

The Usul began to receive large attention on June 7, 2001, with the release of [[Usuki Doll]]s and [[Usukiland]], an [[item]] type and [[shop]] which focuses solely on Usul-type items. The Usul can also be painted the ''Usuki'' [[colour]], which is unique to the Usul with the '''Usuki [[Paint Brush]]'''. Because of its affiliation with Usuki, the Usul is to date the most featured Neopet in all of the items in Neopets, with newer Usuki being added every year, including on August 20, the ''Annual Usuki Doll Convention''. The name possibly comes from a mix of "usagi", the japanese word for rabbit, and "squirrel".

==Overview==
As a general rule, Usuls are very friendly and kind and don't hesitate to share their food stores with other Neopets when the cold winter months approach. They also enjoy grooming, and are very proud of being Usuls (the default Usul petpage mentions "Usul Power!" several times). Supposedly, they are fairly gentle, but are probably a force to be reckoned with when they give their best shots in the Battledome. However, there are one or two (ONLY ONE OR TWO!) Usuls who display almost none of these characteristics, like the Shadow Usul.

The '''JubJub''' is a [[Neopet]], and one of the original lineup of pets to adopt when [[Neopets]] went public. Throughout its varying colours, it is in essence a ball of fluff with a pair of orange feet. JubJubs are shy, secretive creatures who are scared easily, and prefer to keep to themselves. They aren't aggressive, but can defend themselves with a deafening screech when threatened. And while they are small, they can run or roll at an amazing speed.

Because of their small size, they are often mistaken for plants and vegetables, and this confusion is made all the more difficult with the fact they can be painted into various food items: like garlic, strawbery etc. Also, even though they don't have any hands they make due with using their feet in place of their hands, which is an easy task with their opposable toes.

It was questioned if [[Fuzzle]]s are baby versions of the JubJub, but this has been disproven in a [[Help File]], stating that Fuzzles are toys, and not Neopets.

The JubJub was originally called the '''JibJib''', and has since been renamed "JubJub" on August 23, 2000. It is believed the JubJub attained its current name from the beast called the ''JubJub Bird'' in the [[Wikipedia: Lewis Carroll|Lewis Carroll]] poem, [[Wikipedia:Jabberwocky|Jabberwocky]].
