'''Roo Island''' is a [[Mini-World]] in Neopia ruled by [[King Roo]], a [[Blumaroo]]. It is a small (approximately 50 miles by 100 miles) island situated 30 miles east off the coast of [[Neopia Central]] and connected by a rainbow.

==Blumaroos==
Roo Island is heavily populated with Blumaroos. According to a survey done for an old Neopedia article, 95% of the population of 275,000 inhabitants are Blumaroos (4/5 Blumaroos are born there). Several of the buildings are designed to resemble Blumaroos, particularly the palace of King Roo (who is obsesed wih dice-a-roo), and the [[Colouring Pages]] building is reminiscent of a Blumaroo tail. For those non-Blumaroos, all buildings in the shopping district are shaped like little huts.

==Attractions==
Roo Island features two games, [[Dice-A-Roo]] and [[Deadly Dice]], a souvenir shop, a merry go round, Roo Hill leaf sleding (not accessible to players) and colouring pages. Players may also choose to build their [[NeoHome]] on Roo Island. Also, every year, King Roo hosts [[Neopia]]'s biggest Dice-A-Roo tournament, in which thousands compete.

==Yooyuball==

Roo Island's [[Altador Cup|Yooyuball]] team consists of also-rans and inexperienced rookies, but received a huge boost when [[Lilo Blumario]], one of the game's top players, decided to take a pay cut and sign up with his hometown club. In what was considered improbable and the biggest story of [[Altador Cup 2006]], Roo Island managed to reach Round 3 of the tournament, being defeated by [[Darigan Citadel]] and placing as number four. After a voting of fans and players that Roo Island had the ugliest jersey. Fans hoped to do even better this past tournament,with a new uniform and the team's signing of [[Maraqua#Colour|Maraquan]] forward [[Jair Tollet]], who was traded to Roo Island for [[Dayla]], the red Lenny (She got injured in the first practice and never played again). This helped Roo Island make it to the final match, losing to [[Darigan Citadel]], and overall placing in second. Third time proved to be the charm, when in [[Altador Cup III|2008]], Roo Island beat Krawk Island in the Altador Cup final, claiming the cup. While in 2009, after a sub-par regular season, they went on to a surprising win over [[Haunted Woods]] to claim 9th place. Although they fell to the "[[winnner's curse]]" more then any other team.

'''Jair Tollet''' is a [[Maraqua#Colour|Maraquan]] [[Eyrie]] and ''Left Forward'' on [[Maraqua]]'s [[Altador Cup|Yooyuball]] team of 2006 and [[Roo Island]] in 2007-2009. An experienced scorer and passer, the only thing Jair Tollet lacks is tackling ability and stamina. Tollet hardly got the publicity she deserved, due to all the attention that is paid to [[Elon Hughlis]]. There were rumours Tollet was looking forward to signing on with another squad at the end of 2006 and getting out from under Hughlis's shadow, shown to be true at the beginning of 2007.
