'''Chef Bonju''' is an Orange [[Blumaroo]] from [[Shenkuu]]. He accidentally pushed [[Hoban]] overboard in the [[Cyodrake's Gaze]] plot after an argument about one of his meals, and now runs a cooking pot called the [[Magical Cooking Vessel]].

Just before the storm, he claimed to be washing the dishes from the earlier meal, while [[Kentari]] claimed Bonju had just left the armoury, concealing something under his jacket. During the storm, he supposedly saw Hoban three times: at the starboard, then port railings, and then he later talked to him - although this does not agree with [[Anshu]]'s account.

Hoban revealed, when he was found by the crew, that it was Bonju that pushed him overboard because of a dispute about the meal he failed not eat earlier that night and Bonju was placed in solitary confinement in a storeroom until the ship returned to its port of origin.

Finishing his dinner first, Kentari headed down to resume his duties. During his rounds he saw [[Chef Bonju]] sneaking out of the weapons store room. Before having time to investigate, the whole crew was ordered onto the deck. His only interaction with [[Hoban]] was when the navigator came to assist him but was upset about [[Linae]]'s bad omen comment. He did not know that Hoban was missing until after hearing the news from [[Shumi]].

The player meets Kentari for the first time shortly after stopping a bandit that was stealing money from Wonderous Weaponry while Kentari was away. For stopping the bandit, Kentari rewards the player with a [[Scamander]] [[Petpet]]. He then asks the player to go help [[Orrin]].

Kentari's hands alternate between having fingers (like gloves) and not having fingers (reminiscent of mittens) in the comic's second chapter.
