The '''Hissi''' (from ''hiss'', [[wikipedia:onomatopoeia|onomatopoeia]] for the noise a snake makes) is a [[wikipedia:snake|snake]]-like [[Limited Edition]] [[Neopet]] released on 4 May 2005. It has wings, like the [[Wikipedia:Aztec|Aztec]] serpent god [[Wikipedia:Quetzalcoatl|Quetzalcoatl]]. They have acute vision and a keen sense of smell which makes them extremely good at games of hide and seek.

A limited number are available for creation every ''Hissi Day''. An existing Neopet can be turned into a Hissi by a [[Transmogrification Potion]], [[Morphing Potion]] or by certain zaps the [[Lab Ray]]. The [[Ice]] Hissi is reminiscent of the [[Snowager]]. In the [[Neopets Trading Card Game]], they are associated with the element of darkness.
